welcome! have you thought about a suzuki gs500 ? they are just a tad more powerful than a 250 and not as intimidating as a 600

yes commute up to 2 hrs, carve, and still be comfortable. i think im comfortable with a bike that is bigger than 250cc, but i want something rev happy and reliable, easy to work on, cheap to fix... like the bmw 3 series of cars something common, not exotic. also i love the 'naked' style bikes, not all plasticy and big

^ the friends thing is weird on this site and i dont know if you invited me or theres a default or something... i dont know much about bikes period. i like the styling of the sv650, cbr600, ninjas gsxr600 etc.. not a big fan of harley, rebel, vulcan styling... my budget is pretty much maxed at 2000, im also in the market for a 4x4 diesel and that is my first priority, the bike will be the counter balance for gas mileage

ive introduced myself before (last year) but never got a bike so i have been a dormant user. im in NWO however i got my temp today so im back. i also just registered for a basic course in Miami county. so im looking for a bike and medium helmet.

hi guys and gals, new to the site obviously, dont have a moto permit yet, dont have a bike, but im getting there. im getting into bikes because of the practicality, gas mileage, fast and easy to get around town, easy to work on, and i hear theyre fun. im in new york right now but im coming back to ohio this weekend, here in new york you have to have somebody drive with you when you have your permit, and other stupid stuff so im going to wait until i get back to ohio, thats why i joined here. im surprised that i didnt find a thread here with all the requirements for getting a permit and licsense, and all the restrictions along the way, im still not 100% sure on what my restrictions are with just a permit, im 20 years old. so if anybody has a good starter bike for cheap let me know! (no harely style bikes...) and i will see you on the awesome roads of SE ohio
