    Acid Dip

If there are holes or weak spots in the metal the acid will eat through it. But since it was weak anyways you would be welding new in. For metal that is still solid you won't have any problems with acid dipping. One of the most important things is to make sure that ALL of the acid and crap is COMPLETELY washed off and neutralized.

    Acid Dip

I was wondering if anyone knew of any good places that do acid dipping. We are completely restoring a 54 dodge truck and its just about time to get the cab dipped. So, if anyone knows of any good places and if you also have the contact info that would be great. Thanks Brian
  9. I can get you any of those exhaust on options site cheaper than they offer them. If you are interested in any of them send me a pm and we can talk.
  10. Yeah they are easy to adjust until you have them on for a little while and all kinds of dirt and tiny rocks get in the grooves and then make it hard as hell to turn. I took my coilovers off and cleaned everything I could out of them to try and keep them in good shape.
  11. Yeah you can, we just finished putting a B16a1 into a 90 hatch which is exactly the same as putting one in a crx.
  12. I didn't say the B16a2 was the best swap I was just stating the compression for the 2 different motors. If I worded it wrong that was my bad. And yes the B16a1 is the best swap of the 2 motors because it is ODB0.
  13. The B16a1 is 10.2:1 and the B16a2 is 10.4:1 but that .2 isn't much of a difference. smile.gif
  14. The b16a1, b18a, and zc are all very common swaps. The b16a1 is actually 10.2:1 but that doesn't really matter tongue.gif I've got a b16a in my hatch, done a b18a in a crx, and we are doing a b16a in another 4th gen hatch right now. Kinda hard for me to do much of the work right now since I dislocated my knee. Just figure out what you want to do with the car and then decide what motor is best for you by doing research and talking to others.
  15. I've got the lift but like I told someone in my last post I don't know if you want to drive to the mansfield area to do it.
  16. I've sold a couple sets of H&R springs and everyone has been pleased with them. Of course Eibach and Tein make really nice springs too.
  17. I have one that I could rent out but I don't know if you would want to drive to the mansfield area to use it.
  18. Greddy SP and Apex'i WS are nice because they are not annoyingly loud like so many out there. I have the HKS superdragger on my dailer driver 2000 ex and its not horrible sounding either. The Apex'i N1 or any style like it are very loud.
  19. It is going into a colt hatch, but I can still let you know how everything goes next week. As long as my mouth doesn't hurt too much next week after getting my 4 wisdom teeth pulled friday we will be doing the swap.
  20. My friend and I are in the process of doing a 4G63t swap right now, but ours is going into a dodge colt. Which means we are doing a complete wiring swap too But actually won't be putting the motor in till next week. Just gutting the donor car this week.
