  1. Not real sure where the duty holster is right now so maybe it wouldn't be part of the deal, lol. The tac light belongs to the city so it does not go with the gun. Its hard to get a good picture of the laser but it flashes so just youtube lasermax to get a better idea.
  2. Why are those even there? Seems like a wreck in the making.
  3. Might be a contender if we could work something out. Send over his stuff and give him the heads up for me if you could.
  4. I like your thinking, I'm doing some searching now. I need a beater bike so next time we are running down the road and you ride a wheelie I don't feel like such a douche because I can't do it.
  5. Thats like saying a honda civic is still a car - its true but there is a big differance between a honda civic and an F-150.
  6. I haven't trolled CL very much thought I would start here first. Wouldn't necessarily have to be a EX250 I guess anything that is small and easy to ride (and not a hunk of junk).
  7. Hey all, I am looking to get an EX250 for the soon to be wife to ride around on. She just went thought the BRC and is really excited about getting her first bike. I would like to find someone who has something decent she could start out on who would work out a partial trade for a Glock 22 .40 cal with a lasermax internal laser (guide rod). I have 3 mags(15 rounds each) , 3 holsters (fobus, duty, and a tactical leg) and an aluminum mezzi custom cut hard case. If anyone has anything or knows anyone let me know. I can post pics of the gun and stuff. Thanks, John
  8. I honestly wouldn't get all wrapped up in this and worry too much over court procedure. I would contact your county victim assistance office and have them keep you in the loop on whats going on. They are there for you and will keep you and your family up to date on hearings and proceedings you should be at, and they can answer your legal questions (so you don't have to rely on a motorcycle forum, lol).
  9. Time limit being waived means the defendant waived his right to a speedy trial - in the United States a person charged with a crime has the right to trial within 90 days unless he waives his right for such. PT report - is a Pre Trial Report - its a very basic report of facts prior to the trial (usually immediately following a motion for discovery) Don't get this confused with Pre Sentence Investigation (PSI) which will be immediately after the trial these are usually completed by a county (felony) probation officer and will include things like family background, criminal history, education history, ect. Basically anything that would influence sentencing. Some of the things in a PSI can't be obtained or used in a prior to a trial so it will be a lot more in depth.
  10. An officer files whats called a "warrant on complaint" it can be arrested on as soon as it is time stamped by a municipal court, BUT still will be reviewed and ultimately signed by a judge. A "warrant for conveyance" (as in the charge of conveyance) is different than a "warrant to convey". If your getting these two mixed up you had better go back to law school. I'll say it again a: A warrant to convey is an order by a judge for the transportation of a prisoner (period). In the case above in regard to the warrant to convey: the defendants attorney has requested that this defendant be conveyed back from somewhere. Maybe the guy is in prison and the defense attorney is requesting his client be held in the local county jail - this is common if the person is in prison so he can be closer to his family during the trial. MOTION DENIED by ROBERT A FRY Judge on 07/10/2010 (FOR WARRANT TO CONVEY) AFTER THE DEFENSE COUNSEL AND PROSECUTOR CONDUCT THE PRE-TRIAL AND DEFENSE COUNSEL ADVISES THE COURT AS TO HOW THE DEFENDANT WISHES TO PROCEED THE DEF WILL BE CONVEYED BACK FOR ANY FURTHER PROCEEDINGS It says that after the prosecutor and defense attorney conduct the pre-trial (fancy term for meeting) and the defense attorney tells the prosecutor how his client wants to proceed (trial, plea, ect.) then the judge will order the subject to be transported back for further proceedings.
  11. PM me your # and address so I can set up a time to swing down and get them.
  12. Couple questions: Are they salvageable like if I sand and paint them? Would they fit in back pack if I came down on the bike to pick them up? Thanks, John
  13. Type his name in your county's common please court website and see if it shows the indictment or you can always call the jail and ask. Call at night though they are usually less busy and will help you out more.
  14. I'm going to go back on an earlier post with this too. If its a felony, when he was originally arrested on the charge more than likely he was just taken to the jail and booked in then released (in some cases bond is required depending on the charge and county) to await an indictment. Now I assume some time has passed since the original date he was picked up and a grand jury has indicted him and a judge issued an arrest warrant. Indictment warrants are the big boys that are usually state and federal pickup, and in our county the U.S. Marshall fugitive task force serves a lot of them. In a nutshell: Chances are he just got picked up (on the indictment) and the justice ball is about to start rolling through the court system. John
  15. I live right down the road so I may stop out and meet some people. I used to work for M.C.S.O. so I used to be one of the deputies riding around on the quads, lol - good times.
  16. It is an order from a judge to the county sheriff to transport a prisoner without question. Think of it like this: If the county sheriff transports someone for the court without a warrant he doesn't get paid. When a sheriff has a warrant to convey (or even an arrest warrant for that matter) he gets to claim time and mileage for his deputies to do the transport and gets reimbursed by the court - which is ultimately paid for by the defendant via court costs. Hope this helps, I did have like 4 paragraphs typed out with a few common reasons they are used but my browser froze. This is the short and sweet version, if you need anything else PM me. John
  17. I need a factory drivers side step or both aftermarket steps, a hard top rear window motor, a soft top header - hard to explain but its the plastic piece that connects to the windshield when the soft top is up. I wouldn't mind swapping out some other aftermarket parts if they were available and cheap, but above is what I need. Thanks, John
  18. He responded, said he got rid of them a long time ago. Anyone have any TJ parts let me know, I need a few things. John
  19. The cones are off set its 12' x 2'. I have a scooter I rent to people taking the test at a few local BMV test sites so I am out there just about every Saturday morning, and I'm in instructor of the BRC. The testing process is different during the BRC it is more in depth and longer. The BMV is four stages, two of which contain multiple "events" (the sharp left and the controlled stop, and the off set weave and the u-turn). The webbike link above is the exact test given by the Ohio BMV check it out.
  20. Google - I'm feeling lucky: limewire pirate
