  1. Here are the few pictures that I took today. Getting ready to hit the good stuff on 60 Chowing down at the Korner Kitchen
  2. I am so glad that all of you enjoyed the ride. It is my pleasure to find and lead all of you on the best possible rides that I can. Next month I may need to do it a different weekend though since I will be out of town the 3rd weekend.
  3. It was a great ride. Started out slow but once we got past MT Vernon it got much better. We had 14 bikes and there were a couple katanas and none went down. One failed to get gas when we all filled up so he ran out coming down 79 but it was right by a station so he lucked out. Thanks to everyone that showed up. I am looking forward to the next ride.
  4. Weather will be fine, no worries. When it is 90 degrees and 90% humidity we will enjoy the cool off.
  5. Sorry to hear that SnOmAn but it does get better eventually. Been there, done that.
  6. You know where i live so you are welcome to shoot over my way and ride down with us. We will be leaving my place about 8:00.
  7. cough cough, I feel a sickness coming on.
  8. Thanks Ben! Glad you are feeling better and going to make the ride.
  9. TaRR, It turns out that my wife will be coming with me so if you bring your wife she will not be the only passenger rider.
  10. We are stopping for lunch west of Millersburg at the intersection of 39/60 and 754 where 60 starts south. That is at 94 miles so I would guess we would be there by 11:00 - 11:30. Probably be there for an hour then head south on 60. We should be coming onto 36 around 1:00 - 1:30 as long as the lunch does not take long. It is hard to set an exact time since we never know what other things may come up. You should probably just try to meet us for lunch.
  11. You are welcome to crash at my place. I even have a tent already setup from my girls birthday party sleep over. I have a finished basement with a futon also. If interested let me know. I am up by Delaware 3 miles west of I-71 and 1 mile south of 36/37.
  12. Come on out for the CSBA ride. http://www.ohio-riders.com/showthread.php?t=63948
  13. More than likely you will be the youngest but that is ok, swe need to have someone to give a hard time.
  14. Here are the photos I promised. http://s51.photobucket.com/albums/f364/jcmathis/Deals%20Gap%20Trips/
  15. Here is a link that tells about most falls in the area. http://www.franklin-chamber.com/visitorInformation/waterFalls.asp
  16. This is one of them, it is called Bridal Veil Falls. http://i974.photobucket.com/albums/ae224/dvanme/North%20Carolina%20Waterfalls/BridalVeilFalls3.jpg
  17. There more than that one. When I get home I will post up some pics of others. One you drive behind it.
  18. I can give you a nice route that will take her past some great waterfalls. Most everyone will be pulling out of there around noon but you can leave whenever you feel the need.
  19. Yes, just call and say you are coming for the CSBA event. They should give you the 10% discount.
  20. Bring your wife, I cannot say if other wives will be there but in years past there have. Normally I would be bringing Christy but since I am rafting as well she is not coming. We do not have any rooms blocked off so you can book as long as there are rooms available. Hope you can make it.
  21. We have not talked about meeting somewhere before we drive down. Since Todd will be going out of his way to come into Columbus I would say he would not need to do that. I will be coming down from Delaware so it would be fine for me to meet some others. I am planning on leaving first thing Friday morning. There is a plan to go to a particular place for dinner Friday and Saturday night. I cannot remember where that is right now though. I am sure there will also be a late night ice cream run for anyone that wants a sugar fix. It is somewhat of a tradition. There will be some that will want to spend all day playing on the dragon and others that will journey out to the rest of that beautiful area so as fas as fuel consumption goes, it depends how much you want to ride. It will be safe to plan for 250 miles per day.
  22. Iron horse is one of the closer campgrounds. There are also other motels in robinsville that are cheaper if you are looking to save money.
