  1. haha thats what are rodes are good for!

Seems my daughter's Grandpa just bought a house in Apple Valley. Early tomorrow, after dropping Victoria off for a day with the ex's family- you might again hear a twin punishing the hell out of your roads agian. If you hear the roar, get out of the way! :p

  2. brian has my number!!!!! is that when he called me from 70 and 83???

Yeah. I think he called you. I had done several of the roads there before, but don't know the area other than a loop. You know the pace we're on though... :D

  3. Brian, my brother, and I flew threw there, and managed a bite at the Apple Valley Grille. It was a bit wet early on, but dried. I tried to rustle some of you up, but maybe next time. Listen for the big twins at 9,000rpm.:p

  4. So Sunday wasn't the best day to ride out that way, but we still murdered your roads. I heard a wimper from 714, if I'm not mistaken. I let the twin loose in your hood. Hehehe!

Looking forward to doing that again, while obeying all posted speed limits of course!:D

  5. Hell, why don't we just ask Danny Eslick which one he'd prefer...

...or do we want to ask Jamie Hacking?? :dunno:

Sorry Lizard, I could not resist!

Give Eslick some credit. If the bike were the only variable in the race placing, we'd have Mike Barnes placing second, and so on.

Besides, I love seeing Hacking getting stuffed...

Excellent write up! I'm partial to twins, though.:)

  6. Not sure about triple digits but it isn't out of the realm of probability. He was surely exceeding the speed limit enough for me to let the driver off the hook. (pending further information' date=' of course)[/quote']

Comparative negligence again. She is over 50% at fault, regardless of the speed.

That said, it was a Yamaha cruiser. The only thing heavier and slower is a Harley.... :p

  7. I met and rode with some of the locals there. Nothing beat it! Cherhola can be taken at 75mph without braking at all, just keep it constant. Learned that from the locals, and it was true. Everybody wanted to gas and brake, but just flowing- and leaning HARD- that was a blast!

  8. These prices have still not sorted themselves from the artificially high cheap credit prices. They are still shored up in value by the stimulus that hasn't allowed a proper bottoming. Don't count on a valuation trend going as high as fast again.

Not a specialist, just a skeptic.

  9. Wow.. so if the street was posted '35mph' and the rider was doing 85mph you'd still side with the dead guy?

Disclaimer: I'm not siding with anybody' date=' yet.[/quote']

Comparitive Negligence. All that has to be proven is over 50% at fault. Speed isn't what caused the fatality. 35mph or 85mph- the results are the same. A truck caused this by negligence, as viewed by the law itself.

  10. I learned something when I didn the right thing and called the police after a person ran me off the road. Made a report, and the police officer asked if there were any witnesses. I don't know? So he proceeds to tell me that it is like simple assault case. You need witnesses, or else it's a he said vs. he/she said. So nothing came out of this, in spite of having the plate numbers.

Lesson learned. Similar thing happened on High Street. A person merged me to the curb late at night. So it's like a simple assault, eh? A guy got beat down by a scooter rider near campus. I didn't see any witnesses.

  11. Ex girlfriend was from there. I won the Cardington Fire Hall Bingo coverall. Pissed everyone off because I only took one card and grudgingly went to appease. Got the granny evil eye for that.

Other than that, you have a great Adult sign off 71! Always new when we were getting close- just look for that and the "Real men don't use Porn" sign. Cheers!

  12. I know the feeling of fending for yourself after losing my parents as a kid. It's intimidating at times, and it made me realize not to take anybody for granted. Those that love you, they are precious- remember that. Go out of your way to relay that, and build what you can. Don't look back and lament what you can't change- but embrace those that have stuck with you. That is your family.

  13. Do the responsible thing. Get an apartment by a bar, so you don't drive. Get a job as a barback, and work it into a bartender job while for a bit. It is easy from there. I carried that card longer than I liked. I decided to make up for it. Bartending and working a door, it will bring the ladies to you. That is my public service announcement of the day for you.

PS. Don't marry the girl you get pregnant.:o
