So first, anyone have experience with CCW applications for PA Non residents? I know they are required to fulfil but a lot of counties "ignore" non-resident applications. I've heard good things about Centre and Mercer county. http://www.co.centre.pa.us/sheriff/license_application.asp Second, HB203 allows CCW holders to go into restaurants that serve alcohol as long as the holder isn't drinking. I emailed the representative for my area and got an email asking me to give them a call so they can talk about it, I'm sure it's their standard reply so they can "ignore" a certain number of people since they will never call. My main question is simply "what are you doing to make sure these types of bills get passed", but if there are other questions I'd be happy to ask.
You know what would be a good in-car PSA? Grab the most popular default text tones from the top phone manufacturers. Play the tone x 2 "Why'd you go to your phone? Stop texting while driving, nothing is that important" Then just rotate the ads.
I believe you have to register in Cleveland (whether or not that violates ORC or not is beside the point) But to OP, nice little pistol, would be fun as a "backup"! I bet it's pretty accurate.
I wanted to say "We put the 'fun' in dysfunctional" but that seemed to borderline DTC too much. The way I think about it, a.) would I wear it? b.) when wouldn't I wear it c.) would it drive more people to the website.
Seriously... I think I hate contracts the most of everything I do at work. Thank goodness I only have to do this once every 3 years. I can't do a single thing myself because I have no idea if the change is significant or not. So the answer to every question or proposed change is "Let me check with legal" then I have to send a proposal back over to which the person always replies "let me check with legal" But if we just had the lawyers talk then it would end up being a 100 page contract.... Argh!!! [/rant] My opinion my own doesn't reflect the company I work for nor do they endorse my opinion.
Welll to be honest most of the questions/comments are serious. If we can only use creative commons or public license images we're restricted. Can't show a Kawasaki Vulcan unless it's an image you took or drew. And even then if you have any logos visible the company can sue for violation of fair use since it contains their copyrighted logos.
Re: using logos, assuming Casper doesn't plan to make a profit off the shirts it'd probably hit fair use (unless he used something like cafepress which makes money) But even if you did make money, it's educational use, and it'd be damn hard for the manufacturers to sue for damages since there's no damage to their brand. the purpose and character of the use, including whether such use is of a commercial nature or is for nonprofit educational purposes; the nature of the copyrighted work; the amount and substantiality of the portion used in relation to the copyrighted work as a whole; and the effect of the use upon the potential market for or value of the copyrighted work.
I meant to ask, are you charging for the shirts? I assume, any profit? Most images can be used if you aren't making money off the logo... even without consent for most cases.
I hear you, but social groups aren't integrated into vB the same forums are (duh). If that was the case why'd we need all the racing and stunting subforums?
I'll mock it up and post it for you. Busy day but I'll get to it. Just to make sure I don't miss any. Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, KTM, Harley, Buell, BMW, Triumph, Ducati, Victory, Aprilia, Yamaha ?
