  1. http://www.ironpony.com/ironponydirect/productpagebrand.asp/brand/SIDI/Class3/Street%20Boots-Mens/Class2/Footwear/Class1/STREET%20PRODUCTS The Doha's or the Escape. I like the Escape, the Doha is probably a bit better for ankle support though. Both are great for walking. Escape has a very stiff sole. My next pair I'm looking at the Evo Rain.
  2. 211BHP@$91,700...............vs. an '03 GSXR1000/2 stage boost@225low boost, and 335 high boost....yes that's hp for around $9000.00 and it looks like birth control, no thanks.
  3. That thing's looks so fast it'll shave off at least 2 seconds on your time!very nice.
  4. Bring back 3C camps or some variation, build some roads, you need assistance, you have to work a government sponsored job at the least and you get a deadline for being on the welfare roll. The other thing is the idea of entitlement. Since when is it the government's job to coddle you?
  5. Plenty of kids here need homes. Plenty of people here go hungry. As for the original question, Mexico vs. Haiti, Mexico has a government in place, albeit not the greatest. Haiti had a piss poor government, and now has no government and no infrastructure. In very short order with no US presence, you would have Somalia, Part 2, which is a great breeding ground for extreme terrorist recruiting and behaviors. But, you could put a fence up around it and leave it for 10 years and see what you get.... There are people just as hard up in Mexico, millions of them, at least Mexicans work, not sure about a bunch of Haitians bitching because the food was air dropped and they had to go a ways to get it.
  6. Oh yeah, get some friends together and make a road trip to Newport, Ky. straight down I-71. Go to the Hofbrau House, great German food and they brew several different beers there, very excellent, worth the drive. If you go on Sat. night, when you're done go about a block east and then south a couple blocks, can't remember the name of the street, but there is a great Blues Bar there on the corner of this old neighborhood near the restaurant. Very Cool.
  7. Pine Club, Bonefish Grill, One of my favorites is J. Alexander's, best steaks around.
  8. If all you want to do is punch paper and do it cheap, a nice Ruger .22 target pistol is cheap and fun. If you want home protection, get a short barreled .12ga. pump with an extended mag tube, I like a Remington. If you want a decent handgun that's versatile, accurate, small enough to CCW later (frame size and weight) I really like the Glock 27 .40 cal. I'm pretty partial to the .40 These guns are tough reliable and quite ugly. I never though I'd own a partially plastic gun, but they are reliable and very accurate right out of the box. If you're "brand concious" and you want to drop the coin I like a Sig Sauer or a Kimber. But, if the gun has to look great and you're not partial to a semi, I love that S&W 500, that is a Man's Gun! Ammo is pricey though, about $60-65.00 a box,,,,, for 20.
  9. Try Barnacle Bill's Custom Leathers. Competitive prices, custom fit to you. call for a price. I've never bought any but a friend of mine likes them. They got a website.
