Bad idea to start it and turn around and shut it off. Condensation in the oil and all those dry starts for no reason. Park it and let it sit.

Bad idea in a cold garage maybe, but not when it's sitting in a heated area. Gets put up w/ clean oil and filter and gets changed after a ride or two in the spring.

I agree. But they didn't have MV's in the showroom next to the Electraglides like the Buells maybe its nothing more than a control issue.

I'd hardly be classified as a liberal in most cases of the word... I believe in forming an opinion on facts and personal feelings, listening to others' WELL THOUGHT OUT opinions and then going from there.

Don't like road salt on my bike, generally too much grit on the road, don't like the pre-treatment on the road, don't like cold weather that much, but will ride usually until the first salt goes down.

A buddy and I got in about 240 miles today. Leesburg, Oh. to West Union, to Portsmouth, across the river, down Rt. 8 through Vanceburg, Ky. to Maysville. Back across the river. Stopped in Aberdeen for a sandwhich, back to West Union, back to Hillsboro, back to the house. That puts me at 400 miles on the Buell. It was a good day.

I don't know? I subscribe to M/C Consumer news. They had a blurp in there about Buell closing as they went to print. The comment was ( From H/D corporate)" MV Agusta is a stand alone company and can be sold off. Buell, however is too entrenched in Harley Davidson to sell it off." They commented that in order to lean the Company out a little and cut loss, they were going back to their strengths and focusing on what they sell the most of.....

Nope. The full tank w/ stabil + an understanding wife who lets me keep it in the sunroom ( heated) I back the backend of the bike out the door, unplug the trickle charger and fire it up and let it run for 8-10 min. about every 10-12 days, all winter. Only problem is, now w/ 2 bikes don't know if she'll let keep them both in there?
