lol You just can't attend this event if you don't work for NW. That's the only thing. RIDE ON!!!! I'm worried about the threat of storms.. not the rain.. the storms.

This event is only for Nationwide employees/contractors. Wednesday, July 21st Nationwide Insurance (Nationwide Activities Association) is putting on the Ride to Work Day. There will be rides scheduled to leave from various locations acrossed town to head downtown about 7am. The actual festivities (music, vendors, etc) will be from 10:30 till 1:30pm in front of Nationwide downtown. They will have the street blocked off. There will be a lunch ride downtown to the event at 11:30pm from the Tuttle Atrium 1 location. That's the ride I'm doing since I'm also in Dublin. Anyway, if anyone here works at NW (which I do know there are a couple other than myself) just a heads-up in case you didn't see it posted elsewhere. Okay all- I think you've convinced me. I guess I'll stay with 92SFL until I win the lottery. Since I don't play the lottery.. I guess that means forever. Maybe it's a sign that when I'm 92 I'll be living in South Florida longing for my days of riding a motorcycle that isn't one of those motorized Huver-round scooters.

Yikes.. sounds like renewals are even pricey! I guess mine is sorta personalized--- for someone. Currently says 92SFL looks like I have something important about 1992 and South Florida. lol

Okay, so I just did a online quote (oplates.com) to swap out my BMV issued plates with some vanity plates. I did a 2 year and this is what the total came up to: State License Fee $57.00 Local/County Tax $-.-- Service Fee $5.25 Postage $1.70 Special Plate Fee $100.00 Logo Price $-.-- Late Fee $-.-- SOS Donation $-.-- Total $163.95 That's more than my personalized plates on my car!!! (DGTL GRL) To those who have got personalized bike plates- can you tell me how much the yearly renewal will cost? My current assumption is the first time you get these perrsonalized bike tags is when they cost the most. How much does a yearly renewal run on a vanity bike tag? I got new tires on my Shadow Aero 750 in June of last year. I don't have the bike in front of me right now to tell you--- but I think they are Bridgestones.. I think. Anyway, around how many miles should I expect out of a set of cruiser tires? I was told one time it was alot less than I would think. Anyone got a idea? 3k? less? More?

Those prices are cheaper then Yamaha of Columbus from what I recall.
