LOL! 3C did a crappy job on a easy repair on my hubby's Pontiac ages ago. They left a huge gap between the headlight and the side panel. It didn't match the gap on the left side light/panel. We no longer have the car but for other reasons. I can personally say I had crappy work done on my Protege at Cheshrown Kia. Grange who was insurance carrier at the time pushed me into using them. This is a pretty lenghthy story with that situation so I'll just say it took 2.5 repairs to get it right. The .5 repair was damage they did to my car RIGHT in front of me. It wasn't like they meant to do it of course.. but come on! Be careful will ya?! Good luck on whoever you use.

I don't know how many of your participate in the Komen Race for the Cure here in Columbus. I did for my first time last year. I was wondering if when they start registering if any of us would like to put a Ohio Riders group together to do this 5k together? I don't care if you walk, jog, or run like a greyhound during it. I just thought it would make a strong statement to the community to see such a hardcore group of bikers :lol:do the race. I know there is always a group of bikers that cheer on the particpants on High Street... I was just thinking of a group of us doing the race together. Soooo.. have you done the race? Too far for me to convince the hubby to drive to. Maybe I should plan a North to West side meet-up.

We need to plan another Columbus get together. Even if it's just going to the movies or bowling. Maybe even just a weekend afternoon lunch somewhere. Personally I couldn't do any of the holiday events due to having family in different states. It is the worst time of the year for me. Well, what do we want to plan?!

I know.. my dad went down to Ft. Myers last Sunday morning. He is pretty miserable and they both have colds. Said tomorrow (Sat) will be a high of 35 degrees.

I hope he realizes that come riding season he's going to get such grief about this thread. Not like he could do anything about his car issues and I completely don't fault him for asking for advice... At least this thread isn't about how shocked someone is that their Dodge Stratus or Plymouth Sundance is having issues.

I changed them because it suggests to change the plugs and wires at 35k in the service manual. It's not like it cost alot to do. Plus the less then $60 I spent then was much cheaper then the $500 maintenance that Byers Mazda Subaru quoted me. SERIOUSLY? For a 35k mile maintenance?! Yep. My car is in my avatar. I also have pics of it in my photo albums. If you click on my profile it's also off to the side with the main focus being my bike.

Thanks for your vote of confidence. I love my car. It costs me alot in low profile tires.. but that's all I've had thus far. My 5-speed transmission car with 101k miles has been good to me. Oh, and I replaced my plugs and wires with HIGH GRADE plugs/wires at 35,000 miles. It's also never late for a oil change. Wish the tires were cheaper.. but pick your battles.

I sent you a email in response to your question since I too own a Mazda Protege 5. My Zoom Zoom is a 2003.
