  1. What part of AZ are you in? I'm in the process of moving there.

Im in Tucson. Enjoy the move!!!

going from my 954 to the warrior was a good switch. I've rode Victories and hated them. the new Hammers such ass. Maybe the Warrior spoiled me but the way i ride, the Warrior was perfect.

But most likely i'm going back to sportbikes... so i will bow out now... cruisers are just not my thing.

Oooo... I love the 954... I really love riding the rocket and I will be sad if I see it go, however, my wife has a cruiser and we look goofy riding together. Also, I have a bad back so I can not take any decently long rides and be able to be comfortable that night or even the next day. Just doesnt seem worth it any more.

  2. I have ridden quite a few road bikes and like the Yamaha's a lot but I love the Victory. I know it is a big difference to go from the CBR to a road bike but I cant do a sport tourer. As for the Victory being over priced, that is the biggest downfall of all. They are a bit pricey. I really like the VTX line as well. They are much cheaper and still rather nice, however not American made. Not sure where to go... But selling my CBR is going to be a sad day. I have done a lot to her and she is certainly my baby. Thanks for the input folks!

  3. Obviously there is a difference between sitting on and riding on, however, the Victories I have sat on are very comfortable. I can stretch out a little bit and be a bit more, ok, a lot more, relaxed than on my rocket. I have a bad back so the stretching out, but not over-stretching of course, feels really good.

  4. Well, I have mentioned it before and now I am mentioning it again to get some ideas. I am thinking of getting rid of the CBR and going with a cruiser. I REALLY like Victories. They are gorgeous, mostly American made, sexy, powerful... Just trying to see what you guys think.

And yes, I am in AZ now, however I prefer to ask you guys up there! :D If you are not a fan of the Victories, please elaborate and then make your recommendations. Thanks folks!

  5. A young boy went up to his father and asked him, 'Dad, what is the difference between potentially and realistically?' The father thought for a moment, then answered, 'Go ask your mother if she would sleep with Brad Pitt for a million dollars.

Then ask your sister if she would sleep with Brad Pitt for a Million dollars, and then ask your brother if he'd sleep with Brad Pitt for a million dollars. Come back and tell me what you learn from that.' So the boy went to his mother and asked, 'Would you sleep with Brad Pitt for a million dollars?' The mother replied, 'Of course I would! We could really use that money to fix up the house and send you kids to a great University!' The boy then went to his sister and asked, 'Would you sleep with Brad Pitt for a million dollars?' The girl replied, 'Oh my Gawd! I LOVE Brad Pitt I would sleep with him in a heartbeat, are you nuts?' The boy then went to his brother and asked, 'Would you sleep with Brad Pitt for a million dollars?' 'Of course,' the brother replied. 'Do you know what a million Bucks would buy?' The boy pondered the answers for a few days and then went back to his dad.

His father asked him, 'Did you find out the difference between 'potentially' and 'realistically'?' The boy replied, 'Yes, 'Potentially', you and I are sitting on Three million dollars.

But 'realistically', we're just living with two hookers and a queer.

  6. I didn't think the roads were too bad except for 666 which never seems to be in good shape no matter how they try to fix it.

If anyone has an issue with distance and you don't wish to say something to the person crowding you please say something to one of the ride leaders. They can make an announcement to the group about it which almost always clears it up. With the group that was riding Saturday I'm sure it would have been fixed.

I was telling the guy with the Firehawk but it did not bother me enough to say something and get people thinking about it.

I like to have the rider in front of me fairly close, so that I can see them to tell where the road goes, but not too close.

I like people semi close but not that close. I can tolerate it but not preferred.

Tar snakes on 666....get me every time. Not sure if it was Todd or alab32 who was behind me, but I almost bit it as I was accelerating down the straight coming out of a corner.

Good times. One of the best rides I've been on, considering the size.

Ya, you had mentioned them to me but I was in front of you on 666. I hate those snakes and as we mentioned, I wish Ohio would just fix the roads rather than do that stupid semi-fix crap! Ha ha.

  7. I had a blast on the ride, just wish we would have been a bit more spaced out. I prefer to have some good distance between me and the rider in front of me and also the rider behind me. If the guy in front of me goes down I like to know I have room and same with me and the guy behind me. It was a blast though! I always love riding the roads and having fun. It would have also been better if Ohio roads didnt suck so bad. ha ha. Thanks for the good ride guys!!!
