I went to Black Wing after work and I definitely didn't like the feel without the Hogue slip-on

After a few mags, my hands felt a bit carpal-tunnel like. But the gun is quite accurate and a joy to shoot. Mad fun

Follow up

$200 from Performance Research got me a decked, pressure-tested, and hot tanked head

buttoned my car up on Saturday and it started on the first crank Sunday morning

A friend of mine was able to take the cyl head from me and the parts runner from his shop is taking it to Performance research today

Thanks though. Now I know Carquest and NAPA have simple machining services

good call... I didn't know that either of those had machining services
