  1. ^^^ lol. IF he even has access to what you need to tune your Mercedes, it is going to be WAY more than $100. Brian is a very skilled tuner on many platforms. His $200 is well earned, I just wish he had an AWD dyno I could borrow!

    Pure-Tuning in Toledo

Aarom Byram runs a tight ship

(and he's a racer with NASA)

  2. Sounds to me like it needs a vent valve. They go bad all the time and are under the intake manifold. If you let it go to long your motor will lock up. It has 3 tubes 1 you can see in the front connected to the valve cover.

a bad cyclone (the Crankcase Ventilation Valve) is possible...since the engine is an M52, this is the P/N

it can be replaced without taking the mani off

look at the oil....it s milky...look at the coolant too, if it is milky too, it s a bad HG more likely than not........I've never done one but it s a time consuming job that requires special tools that can be simulated

Patter$on is right there....milky cap can simply be moisture from sitting

no coolant journals in BMW intakes

  3. The Senna documentary finally got a widespread USA release date for us to enjoy. It was originally slated to (and was) shown at 2 theaters in LA and NYC (the latter of which I actually used to live within 2 blocks of on St Marks Place)

I had downloaded the documentary on torrent but I decided to wait to see it on the big screen.

few people in life become great racers, few become great philanthropists and even fewer become both like Senna did.

    my favorite quote from him

By being a racing driver you are under risk all the time. By being a racing driver means you are racing with other people. And if you no longer go for a gap that exists, you are no longer a racing driver because we are competing, competing to win. And the main motivation to all of us is to compete for victory, it's not to come 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th. I race to win as long as I feel it's possible. Sometimes you get it wrong? Sure, it's impossible to get it right all the time. But I race designed to win, as long as I feel I'm doing it right

this is him going for those gaps

6th to 1st on the 1st lap of the Donnington Park race in '93.

Schumacher may have won the most races ever but those who know will always say Senna was the best ever

  4. Buy new bags, unhook battery, plug in, bolt down, reconnect battery. Done.

    big +1 here

but when removing installed and active bags, do give 2-3mn AT LEAST from when you disconnect the battery to when the bags are unplugged

  5. Because everyone here thinks they know everything... seriously, it's annoying as shit. Even if half the people here test drove an NSX, they wouldn't know what the hell to do with a car that actually handles well. :nono:

    well said

but to each their own, yea?
