  1. that doesn't matter whether Bernard was a runner yet or no (he was though, for sure). Shazier led with the crown of his helmet. Regardless of where he hit Bernard (it was on Bernard's helmet, for the record), it should have been 1) a penalty 2) not a turnover in Pittsburgh's favor
  2. Saw the end. It was like watching Cincy commit seppuku and the refs acting as kaishakunin
  3. wtf? http://p.fod4.com/p/media/d6fc5733f3/Q3Ba1c2KTXetxGRnN3nb_trampoline-fail.gif
  4. GM used to be super arrogant. They're more humble in that regard
  5. [quote=Doc;1869896 It took a few years for the manufacturers to find ways of significantly improving mileage while giving customers cars they wanted. Engine technology got better, cars got lighter, mileage went up, and ultimately quality improved. I'm sure there are many other factors at play, but that's how I look at the graph, FWIW. And that's how the Japanese managed to infiltrate the market. They had a huge jump start on fuel efficiency in the early 70s and USA took a while to catch up I especially love this story of how Honda slapped GM in the face the best way they knew how: no words, just show of engineering superiority http://jalopnik.com/when-honda-gave-gm-one-of-historys-most-amazing-smackdo-1576732771
  6. I came across this and I find it interesting. http://www3.epa.gov/otaq/fetrends.htm This graph in particular is cool from bullet point 3 http://i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media/image/upload/s--DN3XdGjf--/bdo3ugvripfs7w9czor5.png It shows that vehicle weights have averaged out to be steady in the past 10 years (high strength steels, aluminum, Carbon Fiber, and other materials help drop weight and let new safety equipment be used for basically a net gain of zero weight?)

  9. I really can't understand how people can think otherwise on this matter.
  10. that said, here's Harvey's apology tweet. He went full potato with not 1, but 2 extra mistakes!
  11. So USO is a ETF? I hate to ask such a basic question, but what is a ETF, and how do they correlate to commodities like Oil and Gold and Silver, etc? I've never really known and the descriptions I see online just confuse me more
  12. Definitely Buckeye for experience. But if i'm honest, I prefer the layouts at Grand Prix. They have 3. Forward/reverse (~35 seconds) and a full track (1mn) that combines the normal with the kids track. They run 1 of those layouts any given day. Usually the full is on Sundays I must note that Buckeye also changes their layout every 3 months because their barriers make it easy to do. I think they're on layout number 4 since they opened in Nov '14
