  1. What's the name of the place? Did I miss it?
Mexican place right there on the square. Walking distance from where you are going. Lapaloma. More notice and I would've met you there

    Yes you missed it

  2. I personally think the fallen rider forum is a waste. All its being used for is to post about a crash someone saw on the news...who cares. Kinda the same as all the FB crap about Whitney, you didn't know her and never met her so why are you mourning for her? Same here you don't know the rider, never met the rider so why post about it? Who cares if he rides that doesn't make him family or friend. I don't post or mourn for everyone killed in a Dodge Ram just because I drive one. If you know the rider or he is a member here fine post it. Why post about every crash on the news?

  3. You're prolly not going go to buy 20 or 30 mags and if you are I'm sure he would cut you a deal. He is also a site sponsor so that earns him our business. Plus he takes very good care if us on gun prices and transfers. If you choose to forgo that and buy from someone you don't know over the internet plus pay shipping then why even ask us? Hopefully Dale will remember this when you really need him.

  4. I heard he was doing 168 mph

    So sad Rip Luka smith

    168 mph. Really? Really?

That is hear say, the source most likely being one of the cars he passed that was doing the usual 45 so 90 would've been like a jet to grandma in her Buick. With the couple curves he had just come thru and the traffic he had to pass coupled with a passenger on what looked to be a gsxr 600 from the parts left on the rollback I highly doubt he was anywhere near 168.

  5. Ive been really wanting one of these Zombie Lowers for a while for my SBR but they've been backordered. Well they are about caught up and will be in in 2 weeks. Dale ordered 4 extra for my fellow Zombie hunters so hit him up. They are pretty cool plus good price and Spikes puts out quality parts with Lifetime Warranties. He will only have 4 extra so better move fast.

  6. Spikes also makes a Zombie lower, I was looking at it last week. Not as colorful but make me chuckle as well.

They have a few other styles also.

Bump. I decided I wanted the Spikes one for my next build and had Dale order me one. They are about caught up on the backorder and should be delivered to Dale in 2 weeks. He ordered 4 extra for my fellow Zombie hunters so hit him up.
  7. My local fire department offers lock boxes for the FD to use. I guess you put spare keys in there etc. Are they worth it? I figure I could also put a note in there saying where the meet-up place is as well as a floor plan and how many folks stay in each room.

Nope, if the house is on fire we're not going to bother with a key. We have our own key that is faster and more fun. The main purpose of those boxes is for elderly with medical alarms so we can get in when they push the button to call us when theyre sick or have fallen and such. They frown upon our key in those situations.

  8. 30', not 300'.

If my 8yo has to run outside into 12" snow at 20F in his pyjamas then he coudl be dead from cold before the fire department finds him - especially if they are focused on the fire at the front of the house.

You would be surprised at the resilience of a child. And when we show up on scene we do not just focus on the fire or one part of the house. A crew will grab an attack line and work suppression but others will do a perimeter search and another crew will do an interior search as well if feasible.
