Yep some bikes the pick up is mid pan and you can oil starve the motor on long freeway wheelies so you add an extra quart to keep the pick up tube in oil.

I'd look elsewhere, it doesnt book out at 2500 like he said. It's salvaged from atleast two crashes from what I see. Stored outside, parts duct taped on and you cant run it to see if it has even more issues.
