need some more comfy seats for my 07 1000rr anybody know a good upolsterer to mod the oem ones or found some good replacements mainly the pass seat so the wife will ride more but thinking on doing my seat to but hers is priority i saw a pic of a corbin for it but it didnt look like much of an improvement for the money they wanted

better chain life if replaced together and sprockets are cheap chains are not thats why i say that . suppose you dont have to but thats my choice and the choice of most top mechanics but all up to personal preference

what ever you do, when your chain is wore out replace your sprockets too not just the chain

520 chain is lighter and still has far more tensile strength than your r6 could ever need the x ring is a better design on the oring "more durable and tends to hold onto lube better" both are still orings just different design the r6 has a decent final drive ratio dont know that id change sprocket sizes . definatly wouldnt change the rear but the fronts are cheap get a stock one and a -1 try em both see what you like better but 520 xring all the way !

yep ... I went down one in front and up one on the rear on my 1000rr it definately didnt need any help just makes it a better more usefull power it wont push 190 anymore but how often do you need that ????

I bet that motor will be screaming at 60mph if your gonna be doing much riding over 55 you really should look at a 500 can get light nimble cheap 500's as well and youll be much happier in the long run plus if she outgrows it youll have some resale value 250's dont do real good on resale "except for 250 ninja's for some reason those goofy things hold value" but hey whatever makes her happy just thowing it out there

the bikes insured i just leave it in the ignition been doing that forever never had one come up missing yet ,,,,, had a couple i wanted to come up missing but no luck
