They put it there so they didn't have to run extra coolant lines just for the oil. Not saying they couldn't have found a better spot but it's really not that big of a problem.

Yea and I place something under the filter and the oil runs into a catch pan. Wow, that was tough.

I messed with it some on saturday but just couldn't find a decent set up. It was all a loss anyway with it spraying shit all over the swingarm.

Yea, we had to be done by 5 and out by 6. After 6 they charge $1000 per hour, no way there would have been enough 3 hour teams to justify an extra hour. As for the duchenuggetts comment. I could never get comfortable on either, power was ok, couldn't get the thing to quit chattering, oh yea the damn cooling issues they all have. Everyone says they are a bitch to burp when you change coolant, the seal between the waterpump and oil pump are junk (which is what let loose on Todd's). Just not a big fan, don't really see the attraction.

You will be fine on the tire, just changing the tire height.

The 60 front will make it turn quicker as you are lowering the front but be lead stable in the corner. Really won't be an issue on the street.
