Yep, the track was way better. A new spot formed on saturday and scca has an event in 2 weeks there so once the cars hit the track again is going to attack the areas that are causing issues.

Sure it's relevant, if I can do 100 in second gear and t1 isn't a 100mph corner then the point you made about it not being possible to run that section in second unless you drastically change the gearing is off. Hell stock gearing I had to use first in 13 at Nelsons. That's why I stated that I use second but gearing will depend if others can.

It's not a spedo reading, that's all from kawasaki. Hell in a straight line 1st did 85 when I actually ran the spedo. Regardless I never enter 1 on the limiter or even close in 3rd and 2nd is plenty of room left to tip it in. It was good enough to run 3's and with the new sprockets I will actually have more room for speed in 2nd gear. And do you seriously think that I don't know that the RPMs go up as you lean over therefore loosing max top speed?

I don't know, my second gear is good to about 100 and third is only about 10mph more. I will give up a little on entry to have a better exit any day. I only hit 5th down the front straight anyway as is.

What gearing were you running? Plus I know you were running quicker than I was by quite a bit. I think with the 1 down front, stock rear I will be able to run 2nd with no problems.

I will run 2nd from 2-4 and let it hit the limiter just before 4. Your gearing may not be the best for doing this, not sure what you have. not sure if this helps at all.

You should be on the gas hard out of 2 all the way to 4, it sounds like you are just kind of opening the throttle. Also, you kept missing the apex of 7 by quite a bit. One thing that helped me was you should never coast, it's either on the breaks or on the gas and you should strive to hit full throttle as much as possible.

That's fine but just remember this was I group not A and he has a vest so he shouldn't be out there stuffing people and he should be following the I group rules that N2 has in place assuming they are the same as nesba.

Passing in that kink is sketchy to begin with so unless he was already beside him coming out of 10 he should have waited.
