  1. The only problem with that is i bought this brand new kit off of ebay about 6 months ago and dont know what shop i bought it from on there. i tried to call nitrous express to see if there is a adjustment or something. but they were closed.
  2. does anyone know why a brand new nitrous solenoid would leak? I turn my nitrous bottle on and all you hear is a huge leak. i tightend all my connectors and no leaks. But it still just keeps coming out of the nitrous line that goes into the intake. I have the nitrous express kit for the ls1 camaro that goes in the mass air flow. It seems as the solenoid wont close. I have it on a wide open throttle switch, and both fuel and n2o click fine but the nitrous keeps leaking out of the line. It also shoots out when activated and the wide open throttle switch is hit. so if someone could please let me know if they solved this problem before or do i just have to buy a brand new solenoid?
  3. 250???????????? i hope you are not on stock bottom end???????? if you are how many miles are on it ?and how long have you been sprayin that to it?
  4. you may. i just bought the simpson open face at jegs for like 125. so they are not that exspensive.
  5. i am going to take the other set off of the other camaro we have. he is wanting to buy the better looking new set from jegs. im going to run skinnys on the front
  6. I may have my street tires on as well. my 18's are to big. I think they are slowing me down so i am going to try out my ugly factory 16's. i will more than likely be selling my black chrome wheels.
  7. ok. Its suppose to rain all week but clear up for friday. I missed this past friday but plan on being there this week.
  8. it was wrecked in the front end. so i gutted the whole car and started parting it out. so if you know anyone that needs parts i will sell them cheap.
  9. I would show but i dont think we want to haul 2 out that far away. we will kick it around. do you guys have a closer event? I missed the trails
  10. we are not trying to get involved in the hood thing seeing that it will take to much prototyping.
  11. lol the 90 you are fine. but the 180 is going to be to harsh. you are gonna need to get you some 400 grit atleast. 180 you are going to see those scratches unless you primer the crap out of it.
  12. what grit of sand paper are you using to sand your putty down? you should be using 80 grit for sanding putty down. the primer fills your scratches. will not fill any putty marks. If you have tiny dings you can keep using the sanding block. after you think it looks good spray your primer on heavy to where it wants to run. then wet sand it with 400 grit. then wet sand it with 1500 grit just to be safe. 1500 grit if it is silver. if not you wont see any scratches.
  13. are you using a file board or a sanding block? also they make guide coat that works really well. You can also use black spray paint. How this is done is you fix your area then you spray a very light dusting over the area that you are fixing. let it dry, start sanding on it until all of the paint is gone. If you have spots that are to high the paint will be sanded away first so you can see where it is low. and for a bed side if you are not using a file board it will take you twice as long to do this. hope that helps. good luck
  14. tbutera i remember you. you are the 1 who said you are gonna drag my camaro all over this bitch. lol i want to see it when it is done. or during the build process. I havent messed with much of the mustangs yet. We had a 03 cobra we were going to put a kenny belle on but the owner sold it before that happened. we had long tube headers, air kit, power pully, diablo tune on it and quickest et. was 12.20's.
  15. sounds like your loaded with fun. thanks for all your input.
  16. Is this yours or a customers? what kind of power are you looking to get out of it? what heads ? cam? texas speed has great shit. im sure you know that though.
  17. sorry i deleted that. i just figured everyone knew who we were. ever since i got on here everyone has been mentioning the shop with all the f-bodies out front. so i figured about all of you knew the location. sorry
  18. making hoods are way to time consuming but i may kick that around as well. that is one thing we have going for us as well we paint to.
  19. We will show more power on the dyno tuesday. on our 99 it is running mid 10's right now. my 98 will probably be about 430 ish hp without spray. when it gets tuned on tuesday i hope any way. I might get the spray on there by then too.
  20. its cool brian not feeling the love any way
  21. I did't think that this is a tech question? all i was doing is trying to get some input on a possible start to some performance work. i dont want any ones business off of here. we are on a main intersection on the way to a popular drag strip. all we have to do is set our cars out and put a sign out and business would start coming in. I just figured everyone on columbus racing seemed decent and friendly,so i just figured i would get some input on wich way to go with this
  22. thanks for your input as well. Guys im not trying to take any work or piss anyone off by any means. I am just trying to get input to see if it is even worth the time money and effort. we are doing great in what we are doing now. but just want to do something that we actually like to do. and that is go fast and make cars faster. And for the combinations on cars we have a guy for that.
