  1. If my class doesn't run too long I may try to pry the keys out of Lenny's hands tomorrow. He won't want to let me take it out because he knows that I'll be trying to convince him to put way too much money into my bike so I can buy the Aprilia.
  2. I understand completely Crazy. That's what I am doing with this post- dreaming a little. Kenny, I haven't been on that damn Tuono yet, I just KNOW what is going to happen when I get on it. I'll forget all my obligations for it!
  3. I like twins, the SV was my first love. But I have to admit that I have a one track mind about this bike's replacement. It can be anything, as long a it's a 2012 Aprilia Tuono. I man no offense, it's just that a trade with cash won't help me at this point. I need an outright buyer in order to make a real move.
  4. Thanks Hoblick. Anyone who has tried all three is worth listening to!
  5. Ya, I know. There is a market for this version, but there are an awful lot of them out there. No matter what the books say about value, most of the potential buyers would be looking for a deal, not necessarily a viffer. I won't be offended by lowballers, they'll just be ignored.
  6. Thanks for the tip Bad! I'll look into it.
  7. SOLD SOLD SOLD. I am upside down on this bike, and I know it. I owe over $6000 and that is right in between KBB and NADA retail values. Still, gotta see if anyone might want to help me out here. Color is metallic black. The bike is clean but not perfect, a small scuff on upper right fairing (not from a drop since everything else on that side is perfect.) It has LSL handlebar kit installed and I still have the stock clip-ons. Tires are Bridgestone Battlax BT020's, front excellent, rear 60%ish. It runs really well and I regularly get 40 mpg while commuting and avoiding too much time in VTEC. Miles are just past 17k but I am riding so it's going up regularly. I'd probably take $5000. Thanks.
  8. Looking for a deal on a seat for my VFR. I am willing to throw in my OEM seat in excellent condition if a trade can be met. I know it's a long shot, but these things new are crazy priced!!
  9. I think it's an interesting find. If it was in my back yard, and I didn't already have three bikes... How can I convince the wife we need FOUR bikes?
  10. Congrats Aaron, and I did find one. I had to go to Dresden to get a CBR250R, it was worth the drive. Good deal on a super clean bike.
  11. Thanks for the input, and I'll stay u p to date with everyone if my deal falls through. Also, thanks to Bad324,, I was thinking $2500 was reachable for sure. At redkow, in 2 more years your deal would be a slam dunk for me, right now it won't work. Thanks though!
  12. These are from when it was lowered.
  13. Guys, I am pretty sure I already have a buyer for this bike so I don't want to get anyone overly interested, but in case that deal falls apart, what would this bike be worth? Two small dents on the left side of the tank but otherwise super clean. 6000ish miles. No mods but added frame sliders and have uninstalled lowering links as well. Let me know if there is any interest, my potential buyer is in for $2100. I won't be insulted but let's keep it realistic please. Thanks. I'll add pics if I can figure or how to do it on this phone.
  14. If you want nights/weekends in Columbus with little responsibility, check out Iron Pony. You most certainly won't get rich there; my 5 years as a part-timer is testament to that, but there are some pretty cool people working there and they've let me do two nights and one weekend day for a long time. I couldn't have survived these years without them, they have my loyalty!
  15. Big fan of those guys, and not just because I work at the Pony. That's a great bike, congrats!
  16. Anyone here live close to the seller? It would be interesting to see what all he "knows" about his bike. I have no time to respond to the ad until Friday, but he probably has an interesting understanding of the extended swingarm too. Awesome.
  17. I've been on the Road king and the Victory both. I was amazed at how well the Victory handled at parking lot speeds. It was really comfortable. Its engine was very impressive as well. The only counterpoint I see to the Triumph and Victory both is service related while away from your dealer. The HD dealer network is giant...anywhere you go you can get a broken bike fixed if it is HD.
  18. Looks great, surely you'll find it a home. I hope your family's health issues clear up. GLWS.
  19. What did they send you to try to quiet the lid down?

Hope you are okay. I love the lid, just having trouble with my previous Shoei allegiance.
