  1. I am just starting to look for a handgun. I like the Springfield XD, sig, and eventually upgrade to a Kimber 1911. This really is like a Ford-Chevy debate. And as far as "looks" the CZ line looks great too. I think I will begin by renting guns at the range and then decide. Not looking for a CC, just something to shoot at the range and get skills.

  2. That other post should have been under my screen name.

I think the reason for the receipts is to prevent using stolen parts to repair a vehicle.

I copied this from the Ohio DMV website regarding salvage title:

My insurance company has salvaged my vehicle, but I am keeping it and repairing it for my use. What steps do I need to follow?

First apply for a salvage title in your name changing the status of your title from regular to salvage. (NOTE: The vehicle cannot be operated on the road while evidenced on a salvage title.) Upon completion of the repairs, contact the closest Highway Patrol Inspection Station and make an appointment to have a salvage inspection done (There is a $50 fee.). Take any receipts for repairs and new parts with you to the inspection. After the vehicle has successfully completed the inspection, take Form HP106 and your salvage title and proceed to any Title Office and apply for a "rebuilt salvage" title. After all of these steps have been completed, the vehicle is now operable for use on any road.

  3. The 4D maglight is between the console and the passenger seat of my car. Really, I do like the idea of the bright flash light. I'll use "the Google" and check into those, after I search for content to add to the Tesla thread.

  4. so if they had a holster to mount the flashlight into the Spiderman-web-slinging position, that would rock.......

Currently using my Mag-light with 4 D-cell batteries for self defense, but it acts more like a stick instead of producing blinding light.

The super mega bright flashlight is a good idea.

  5. I spent some time today cleaning some the remaining ice in spots on the driveway. No major snow predicted just south of Cleveland, just flurries Tuesday though Thursday.

  6. I like the looks of the Ducati sportbikes ever since I seen the 916 back in the day. Being honest, I am in my late 30's and even my current "sport" bike, the Katana 600, I have not pushed that bike to the limit. The Ducati may still have the reputation of a high maintance bike. Depending on the type of riding, I dont think a 848/1198 would be an everyday bike.

I would like to own a Ducati because I like them and they are not all that common.

From the people that actually own a Duc sport bike, how much maintance is required? I think I could afford the bike ( with payments of course) but not sure of the required up keep. I would think with help, I could/want to do most of the work myself.

The idea of the "garage days" sounds great.

  7. :)......yep, all in fun.

Keeping the Sat night trend going, I am going to the local corner bar/food joint and attempt to stay interested enough to watch the NASCAR race this evening with some friends.

Likwid, I am going to Depompi's on Broadway around 6:30 PM,stop by if you can.

  8. Okay, I flipped a coin and called heads, it came up heads. :D

how about 2 out of 3?

insert "pics or it did not happen" or video or something. You seem nice, so I'll just trust you,;)

Dang, no clue where Pataskala, but i doubt I am gonna drive there

  9. No no no, check the posts, I called it first damnit. :lo:

I was posting another post, then I posted the quoted post......we can kickbox or something to settle the bike question, or just flip a coin:)

  10. Great pics. I'm goin' out. Circumcise your watches it's 10:45A. If I'm not back in an hour you guys can come get all my shit. Just at least come to the wake!

I call dibs on the RVT

  11. This is my first winter with a newer 5HP 2 stage snow thrower. I did my drive, and both neighbors drive. The slush at the apron from the street plow was no problem.I kinda felt like that guy on the old Wagner power roller commercial, "do you have a driveway I can clear?"........
