If i remember right Gieco gives you 10% off your premium for taking the MSF course. Im sure other do also. I would say putt around your neighborhood. Get comfortable with the low speed handling and your bike in general. Then maybe make it out to the more crowded roads during off peak hours. To get alittle more time in with more traffic and different situations and so on and so on. Your comfort level and abilities will continue to grow with time. Me personally i dont think i will ride any harder on the street than i do now. Which isnt that aggressive anyway. I have fun and ride my ride which is all that matters! I'm just N/O Dayton in Troy so im sure we can get a group together sometime this summer.

The score is now: 3 kills 2 misses 1 trapped Came home from work today to find one in the trap. This time i put half a corn cob in there and wire tied it to the floor of the cage. Looks like he's going to have to spend the night in there so i can give him to a co-worker tomorow mourning.

http://www.longmeadowsshootingschool.com/Home_Page.html There are 3 instructor's at this class. The short fat guy that runs most of it keeps mood pretty light. It makes the day not seem as long. On top of all that its all the free cookies, brownies, dognuts, coffee, pop and what ever else is there you can eat. A guy could gain 15lbs just going to this class. Also if there are a buch of old retired vets there hang with them. They get to go to lunch first.

One more thing.....The hardest part of it is being there 12 hrs.

1. Mine class was mostly classroom stuff 2. i did 12hrs. in a one day class 3. My shooting test was 5rds. in a 10in. target at 21ft. three times in a row. 4. I think i still have my NRA booklet they gave me. You can read it if you want. Dont really need to. They go over everything in the class. 5. Gun does not matter.

I think im going to call it for the day. 3 kills 2 misses I keep having to dial the scope back in. The first was a clean shot. Dropped him like a rock. The one i clipped i found in the bushes still alive so i had to get all point blank on his ass. Then the third just didnt want to go down. He had alot of fight in him. Tried to get a another head shot after the first shot. That didnt happen so i had to go back out for some more point blank action. I'm going to try some different scope options to try and keep them clean kills. I may hate'em but im going to atleast do it humainly as best as i can.

So far the score is: Squirrels -1 Me - 1 The night before last somehow one of them made off with the bait in the trap. But this morning is a different story. BOOM Headshot!! I was using my scope off my .22mag on the pellet gun. Got a camera set up on it and it was working good. But i couldnt get it sighted in at the range i would be shooting at. Ran out of evelavtion. So now im using a turbo cheap scope off my BB gun. I got it driving tacs at 30 or so feet. . . . . 10 minutes later. Got another i just clipped him. He kinda staggered off into the bushes. The actions picking up got to go.............

I like it when companies have a vid like thiis of something i want to buy. Especially with gear and apparel. A picture can only do so much for you when buying online.

I wonder if thats just the nature of the rotary engine. I know my first Gen RX7 i had was equipped with an exhaust temp idiot light. I had the catalytic converter removed and a coffee can exhaust put on. Then when i would down shift to slow down it would sometimes throw fire out the exhaust. I didnt know it was happening until someguy that was behind me on an exit ramp told me there were flames coming out my exhaust. Then after that i could just about do it on command. That car was fun to drive. Mash gas till you hear the redline buzzer, shift and repeat!

I did it, and it does

Thanks for the link Al.

I will be using a quality pellet rifle. I guy i work with is going to let me use his. Mine is just a cheap pump BB/pellet gun. I dont want to push my luck with a CB sub-sonic .22 round. Nor do i have anything that would fire them anyway. If that is what your talking about?

I think im going to try and record my shots from my balcony. How do they get the scope view on camera. I'd assume they just set the camera behind the scope. Then use the LCD screen on the camera to aim? Or is there some kind of trick to it? Just so everyone knows my neighbors are pretty cool. Hell i could probaly get my one neighbor to set up a spot at his house to get those squirrels in a crossfire! I've seen him drop a rabbit from his back porch that was in his garden with his pellet gun.

I liked the Vegas 8ball also......Till i went to the dealership and saw it in person. Feels small sitting on it. The dealership in New Carlisle is a great place though. The owner pretty much took me on a tour of that place. Went back in to the shop area and showed us a couple of the custom Visions he does. Along with some of the ofther bikes he puts aftermarket parts on before he sells them.

Okay here is my plan. I got ahold of 2 live traps. I will set one on each side of the chimney. Also i will be baiting my back yard with cracked corn the next couple nights. On saturday morning i will wake up early, brew up a pot of coffee and get into my firing position on my balcony. Any squirrel smart enough not to get in the trap will take its chances with my aim. As for the squirrels that make it into the trap they will be relocated. The guy thats going to loan me the traps wants the squirrels. I still need to find something to attach to the chimney to prevent them from climbing it in the future.
-
Not in your area but im sure someone else can.
-
I will probaly just borrow one of my dads traps he uses for cats. Then release it at a buddy's house. And if it can escape the Saiga 12 then it will have earned its right to live.
-
I've been blaming my dog for getting in the trash. But other day i saw one of those cocksuckers diggin in my trash. Thats when i saw it run up the chimney. By the way have i told any of you i fucking hate squirrels. I wish i could just sit out back and plug'em with my .22 mag.

Traps and what not may work but i cat get to them . If i go in my attic i can see the older metal roof. What is on top of that is a totally new framed roof. Not just shingles ontop of a metal roof. There is space between them. My plan was to just go in my attic and beat on the older metal roof to drive them out then make it to where they cant climb the chimney again. I live in an odd house. Dont make me come up with a horrendus MS paint diagram.
-
Beat me to it. I basically have the same one.
-
Try a Fossil wallet. I've had the same one for about 8yrs now and it shown no sign of giving up on me. The best part is that there is a small sleeve that you can pull out if you just need your driver's lisc. and a couple credit cards you can just take that instead of the whole thing.

So here's the deal. The squirels are back. I had some squirels get inbetween my roofs. Yes inbetween. My house had a flat-ish metal roof but the previous owners had a regular roof put on with a different pitch and what have you. Anyway back to the point. The first time they were jumping onto the roof from a tree and made there way in thru the soffit. So i trimmed the tree back and the squirels seemed to leave. I havent heard them for some time. Lately i have heard them in there again. They are not in the attic but inbetween the roofs and i cant physically get to them. The other day i figured out how they were getting up there. They are climbing the chimney. So does anyone know if they make something that you can attach to your chimney that they can climb down but not be able to make it back up? Also i live intown so going on a guns blazing squirel killing rampage is pretty much out of the question.

Thought about powder coat?

I had a bat fly right into my chest once. Seen it the whole way. It was like a drunken guided missle. After it hit i looked down and it was on my leg on its back still alive. Needless to say i freaked like a little girl trying to swat it off my leg.
