I agree, if it is not below 40, snowing, or reaining and the roads are safe i am down for riding. I have had my gloves ice up before and grip heaters are definately a bonus.
We always feel as if "it will never happen to me". There are two types of riders, those who have crashed and those who will. We need to protect ourselves reguardless of what we ride and how we ride. But when you have a passenger you are obligated to protect them. Taking risks with a passenger is asking to kill your loved one or family or friend. Not something i am willing to do. RIP and prayers to the familys.
Congrats and i hope you have all the luck with your specialty. I loved mine and was a rescue swimmer in the Navy for 20 years and loved every minute of it. It is nice to see you are so excited about it. Go for it.
