  1. 1. I worked as a male model here and there and spent a week in Miami about a year ago for a website.

    2. My neighbors made up my username when I needed one to play Call of Duty on Xbox live.

    3. I have ADD so school is incredibly hard and I spent a lot of time in extra courses and summer courses. I'm far from graduating OSU.

3a. Because of my ADD staying focused on the bike at track days is very difficult and also scary/frustrating although medication is helping. Every bike accident I've had (there have been many) was from my inattentiveness.

    4. Outside the corporate environment I am very, very shy around people for some reason.

    5. I own a small business but have a lot to learn and do before I get where I want to be. So, I work with photography and cinematography for now which is fun and I'm getting better little by little.

    6. I work as one of the two IT administrators at an architecture company that designed Nationwide Arena, The Schott, RPAC, the new Student Union, and lots of other stuff on campus and in Cbus.

    7. I always wanted a diesel dually F350 ever since I was a little kid. I still want one, haha.

    8. I sold a bike and bought a Porsche 944 Turbo last year and soon after realized that I don't really have any interest in sports cars at all.

    9. I get in my race gear and turn my city into a race track with my 250 sumo. I rarely do any other form of street riding.

    10. I don't like to party but I do have fun; I largely just enjoy staying absorbed in my work. There are some things I hyperfocus on and spend weekend nights with instead of going out.

  2. Niiice! At this price I should probably get another MX-1... I've had 2 and track tested them multiple times. Some people here have seen my current red/white one which is pretty beat up but a couple seasons ago AStars repaired some stitching and certified it good to go! Definitely a nice piece of gear.

  3. Not a bad day overall. The weather started to get crappy, but cleared up pretty good. Track surface was a little cold, but I'll take that over a wet Mid Ohio surface any day. I did see that someone was out there taking pictures. Does anyone know if someone is selling those photos?

That was me! I was out taking photos of you guys since I still wanted to be there even though I didn't have a bike ready. I'll start uploading photos to my SmugMug tonight when I get back to CBus. Here's the link: http://m5racing.smugmug.com/

I have a few of the photos in Canon RAW format; if you're interested please let me know!

  4. Had a good time myself... was bringing up the speed with each session but then my throttle stuck open near the end of the day :( I'll try to be back on the 27/28th depending on money and weather and how well I heal up after punting a lawyer off his bicycle with my motard yesterday. Ouchies.

  5. I'll be there in I group with a gray/white Monster Energy GSXR 600 in a red/white AStars race suit. This will still be my first 2010 Mid-O track day after rescheduling my previous day in August and I am pumped!! I'm not aware of anyone I know going so be sure to stop over and say hey.. would definitely not mind pitting with someone for the day.

  6. I'll be there Tuesday in Intermediate with a gray/white Monster Energy GSXR 600 going slowly because I've never rode the bike before and I haven't been to Mid-O in over a year. Stop over to wherever I'm pitted, which I call Camp David, and say hello.

And please don't ram your red rocket up my ass.

  7. 12" wheels are fine; you can go 75MPH all day long and they won't even get warm. 13" is good too since you may be able to get a radial tire which would be a little more gentle going over bumps. The loads we're working with are too small to really have any impact on tire choice but I wouldn't get something with 8" wheels that would spin at 6000rpm on the highway.

My 5x10 has 15" wheels which is the largest for most trailers with a 3500lb axle and they're way overkill for hauling two bikes. They also have to be balanced otherwise you'll be limited to 62MPH on the highway as I found out on a 4hr trip to Putnam last year. I don't have to carry a spare though as the one from my suv fits the trailer perfectly since it has the same bolt pattern and overall diameter.

  8. Nah it'll be fine. I towed a single bike on a utility trailer up to Mid Ohio many many times with an '05 Chevy Cavalier.. no prob at all. Loaded up it was <800lbs total. It was a pretty nice setup but I got a Chevy Equinox last year which has space for actual people inside.

Tractor Supply has some nice utility trailers for reasonable prices that are fairly rugged; their 4x7 fits one bike perfect for $500 and a 5x10 fits two just fine for a little more. I've seen quite a few of both at the track.
