  1. Midohio don't sell tires. they can change them .Mark is not tire vendor,he is PTR director..twilight it's been around forewer. This year we change the order to 20 minutes intermediate, and 20 minutes advance.no more combine sessions.people like it .we usually get 5 sessions if everything go smooth.check the schedule there is plenty twilight on weekends this season.
  2. During twilight there won't be food provided anymore,so bring your own.also for tech bring your gear too.intermediate, advance need to have back protector. Some people have in their 2 piece leathers foam in the back, that is not consider as back protector.
  3. I thought this is open forum.don't take things personally.I was going on stt non member prices.you make post and I respectfully disagree. What's wrong with saying you can ride with other organizations for less?
  4. Or you can sign up with midwest track day and save big.our days at NCM are $125 cheaper for weekend, road America $ 220 less and it's on weekend.
  5. You need ama membership, also paying gate fee just like every spectator.
  6. How much? Just got rear end it today.need replacement
  7. That's the plan.stepping up to 1000 so it will be learning year for me.
  8. If you run 1:44 and lost front then it's not the tire,it's either bas suspension set up or you screw up.the tire is good for mid 30s. With 44s you not going put enough heat on race tires and you will be sliding.you better off with street /track tires. There is another thread about your question.nothing is getting short.7/20 minutes sessions.
  9. With laps 1:40-45 I will run Q3s
  10. 7455 is better tire for midohio,8477 less grip slide more. 8477 is tire for NCM
  11. I see few people low side and the leathers don't hold up on impact.you shouldn't have hole in leathers and nasty road rash after little slide. My fiance have that brand before I met her.zipper broke at her first track day.now she wear alpinestars. Plenty good suits for sale on wera forum.
  12. Zero-60 is garbage. They fall apart when they touch asphalt. See few people with nasty road rash.
  13. I think it's better if we stop talking about this. People just reading between lines and coming to wrong conclusions. Sign up to group like you did before, and leave it the rest to the coaching staff.
  14. And yours is better?lol
  15. If anybody still don't understand and have questions pm me for my phone #,and I explain over the phone.
  16. Jesus people take a chill pill. For example Jester, we know how you ride and you did more than 5 days in last 2 years, you will be in A We know who is A and who is not. This is more towards intermediate riders who sign up to A when intermediate was full. Same for riders who go to intermediate and not on pace some off them maybe go back to novice. There is no 2 x35 riders groups in intermediate . Even if you can sign up only to intermediate, if we know you and how you ride we can change your status at registration. If we don't know you grab coach for evaluation, and next session you can be bump up if you pass. Because you novice racer and riding in A with other organizations means nothing,I know plenty people who been riding only at their home track, and when they finally go somewhere else they been at bottom in intermediate. I see plenty guys at PIR with n2 who shouldn't be in A. You guys over thinking this Previous years if you been in A with midohio, and stt and you were new to N2 you have to go through evaluation to get to A.same is now at midohio. Pretty simple.
  17. Lol Jason. First you need find time from your busy schedule to come down.
  18. before season start everything will be explain on website. pretty much nobody can bump themselfs to higher level,it can be done only by coach staff. if you miss riders meeting ,you will have meeting one on one,and probably miss a session. there is few people who constantly coming late, bikes not prep,we need stop this.
  19. if you run A last season you will be allowed sign to A this year too.if you really off pace and your lines are all over the place then you will be send to I.
  20. Everybody before first day read the rules and day schedule on website, there is few changes, like first session start 8:45am, so intermediate riders should attend riders meeting in leathers.
  21. i believe all 3 levels will have 35 spots, this way we have some room bump people up or down. the intermediate group remain same,we just going evaluate riders by their riding skills by most experience coaches and select them A or B. same for advance ,plenty people last few years sign up to advance and they not really advance riders. we going bump people up or down if need it,some people may complain but all is for safety. anybody can ask any instructor work one on one and get better. some people have no judgment on their skills.i witness last year at putnam guy on street R1 go directly to advance because he thought his fast base what his street buddies told him.he end up in hospital, total bike, and ruin few sessions for everydoby. we want avoid stuff like that.
  22. Yes nothing Change , 3 groups.we just going evaluate who is eligible for twilight days.we had many people who is not consistent or up to pace signing . Person who never been at midohio can't sign up anymore directly to A level.only people with expert racing license can go directly to advance.rest of riders will be evaluate before get bump up ,just like STT and N2 do. Many times happen when slower intermediate riders sign to advance because intermediate was full, wont be allowed anymore.we want create safe environment for everybody. We not doing anything new, other organizations doing this system for years.
  23. The groups remain same.we only going monitor intermediate riders and select them for registration A or B.only A intermediate will be allowed sign up for twilight.no more half days. No motards for twilight.
