Not sure where that is filmed, but F430's never came over here with launch control. They only came with 6 speed transmissions (6mt or F1). We have 2 cars making similar power to the wheels, one probably puts 100-150rwtq more, while the other has much higher gearing. Not taking anything away from the god-like LS1, lord knows they are awesome. Not likely the F430 owner is about to run out and buy a camaro however...:masturboy: Just because a car has launch control doesn't mean it was designed to drag race either..... Standing starts with a 8000rpm+ V8 aren't always easy...

Run away.... Just had a guy at work do the same thing, bought a 94 as well. Over the period of 1 year he put about 2500 into it for various sensors, and strange maintenance issues. Then it rewards him with the classic head gasket failure and was staring down another 3K bill. I believe he got about $500 in trade for it. :dumb:
