Does it count as a career if you've been doing it for a few months? :gabe:
  2. ^This. The DEF is not specific to Audi/VW and can be picked up just about anywhere cheaply. It's a very easy process to fill it as well that anybody can do.

Fresh after working out balls, or freshly perfumed balls?
  5. Used very little for a few planes/choppers last year. Not really getting back into the hobby, and sticking to things to go fast on the ground. Paid $160 from hurricane hobbies @ Polaris. It's packed back in up in the box & w/ the charger & manual like new again. $75. http://i.imgur.com/iX9pc.jpg http://i.imgur.com/15ZHz.jpg http://i.imgur.com/liw9M.jpg http://i.imgur.com/4h3U6.jpg

For the 50th time in the 10 and some odd years you've know me. I WORK UNTIL AT LEAST 10PM AT NIGHT.
  8. TDI's usually fair much better than rated while the gas counterparts fair much worse with the same usage. Real life tells a different story.... While test driving I found it very easy to get 28-30mpg on the freeway as 70mph in the Q7 TDI. As mentioned above: Resale value is through the roof, although that usually favors the original buyer. IE: You can buy a TDI Q7 and sell it for more than you owe in a few years easily. Not something you can do with most SUV's. Effortless towing as well...

  10. Thanks bro. Some additional data on that car which is amazing: 0-60 mph - 1.63 seconds (new GTR record) 60-130 mph - 2.98 seconds 100-150 mph - 2.79 seconds
  11. No more than the 1000's of people using it in the FSI world to clean the carbon deposits on the valves or otherwise. BG44, small brushes, compressed air and rags should let you get 99% of it off. A small portion will of course leak past the rings but I'm assuming you'll change your oil before racing it this spring..
  12. I've used both CSN Motorsports & Achbach. Both did very OEM fit and finish work and have had wonderful experiences. I would't hesitate to use either again, I'd just pick whoever is closest to you.
  13. Seeing as you have perfect access, you might try a can of BG44K. Let it pool on top for a while and scrub it with a brush that won't leave behind any bristles later..
  14. Indeed thanks as always Doc. Glad Ryan finally made it out.
  15. Bunch of car guys bullshit, play foozball, or xbox. It's an indoor car meet.
