  1. Regal would be bus lengths in front of R from a dig.
  2. I'll bring a bunch of bottled water.
  3. I don't think anybody (especially anyone who looks at the numbers) would argue the Optima is a good value. The point being made here, is that people that are cross shopping the Optima are cross shopping the Camry, Accord, Passat, ETC. People shopping in the 70k+ market are looking at the 5/6/7 Series, A7/A8/ Merc E/S Class. None of them are aware it exists, and yes, they would be laughed out of the UA neighborhood for buying a 70K Kia, regardless of it's merits or warranty. Take the VW Phaeton for example. VW Doesn't have the same cache here as it does in Europe. The Phaeton was one the most advanced cars on the planet at the time. The Phaeton was also a 100K VW competing in the same segment. It died a horrible death here, and suffered some of the worst depreciation imaginable. Because, that doctor could never park next to the BMW or Merc in the practice without being laughed out the door for paying 100K for an "oversized vw", despite it being the same chassis as a Bentley Flying Spur. Brand recognition and "theoretical prestige" are part of the game in that segment, truth hurts.
  4. Who hasn't wanted an Alfa since they were a kid? I think it's more exciting, it's different, and I like it because it ISN'T a Cayman. Plus, it has FI, which is a must for me.
  5. LOL The DSG boxes I am speaking of have never been brought over here.
  6. My 2 cents: They originally projected it was going to be 75k+ which would put it far outside what I would consider it worth. 50's for a 2000lb RWD Carbon fiber tub, mid engine that will obviously have a good aftermarket, and not have to be a contortionist to fit it, is very compelling. My main concern is with the DSG. If it's like the older/lower displacement motor DSG's that VW used, they are dry clutches which won't tolerate much more power. If it's the newer wet plates, there is hope of it holding additional power pretty well. I'm fairly excited for this car. I think it would be a great AutoX contender.
  7. No idea, but can't imagine a $2x,xxx to $3x,xxx miata having a carbon fiber tub and mid engine layout.
  8. You wouldn't fit in either, normal people in thread please and thanks. :dumb:
  9. New info suggests a 54,000 pricetag. http://www.autoguide.com/auto-news/2013/09/alfa-romeo-4c-officially-priced-from-54000.html :megusta::megusta::megusta::megusta:
  10. I'm aware they exist, just never seen many out and about,if they are, they are parked being waxed at a car show. LOL
  11. 99% of the ones you see are just 5.0 kit cars. Terribly slow. You'll likely never see a real 427 Cobra on the road, pretty much 100% collectors cars now in the 700k+ range.
  12. Yup, Drinking and driving, no insurance, and wrecking other people's cars. A+ Class Act. Here's to the long dick of the law going to town..

  16. Hilliard, no. The Valero/Shell stations on hamilton & 70 on the east side is about it. They have pump 100/110 and just about most other VP 112/116 IIRC/ PPC @ Polaris sells Torco in pails as well.
