  1. That's right, I need to punt you in the knee now. I talked to him briefly at the shootout last year. I never would have guessed he was Dr. Jekyll.
  2. I was asking to see if my turbo IQ was up to par. If he's as fickle as you said, I don't even care.
  3. That's him. He seemed decent enough at the shootout last year, maybe different venues equate to multiple personalities.
  4. I've gotten sunburnt once wearing a sleeveless shirt while TIGing. Other than that, I wear a T-shirt or flannel, gloves, and work pants/shorts. I haven't had any problems doing it that way (when TIG welding). MIG's another story, and I have a few nice scars from it. Clay I haven't used a Harbor Freight mask so I can't comment on that, but I will recommend a Hobart Hood as that's what I've used without fail since I started welding. They're cheap and carry a reputable name behind them. Mine's comfortable, shades well, and I would recommend one to anybody.
  5. http://www.statewidelist.com, searched Ohio and the surrounding states for everything already.
  6. No, this one: http://a8.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/306285_194593677310187_100002786680608_216200_444359591_n.jpg
  7. Doc, you mind if I take a look at the rulebook the next time I'm out that way?
  8. Drag car. I like the styling of the GS300 and you don't see enough of them as drag cars. Erik, the first one's gone and they want too much for the second one.
  9. All I asked is what size the turbo was and what turbine housing they had on it. I didn't realize that it was a goddamn national secret. Doc said the Hinson guys were very nice and down to earth, hard to find from that caliber shop nowadays.
  10. The guys with the black 1G were very nice, it's hit or miss with egos.
  11. Would also consider a 1984-1992 Toyota Cressida shell.
  12. I had a great time except when it came to talking to the Devo Tuning Evo crew. JJ can attest to the figurative finger they gave me when I tried to initiate a conversation with them. I'm not used to being snubbed and it really left a sour taste.
  13. +1 for the Farkas family while we're at it. Mike, Andy, and Pakie are always willing to help a fellow enthusiast or talk cars with anyone.
  14. Multiply that by 10 and you'd be in the ballpark.

  16. I don't have enough information to comfortably guess.
  17. Head, trans, engine management, and turbo setup to start. Again, hard to tell without seeing their spec sheet.
  18. Blank slate for a race fabrication project for myself.
  19. There's a couple there, but I hate to buy something (especially a salvage title) sight-unseen.
