Yes the Dorito. The legs last night were only 5xx miles one day and 3xx mile the next. That's not too bad. I know that can be done with little issue. Thanks Kevin R. It would have been a ton of fun. My buddy Mike and Jesse from here, just did a 2300 mile road trip in 6 days with hitting 3 ski areas. We had a great time. They are running 4500 miles total for the show. I think it would have been a fun 2 weeks. Crossle, how is it not a reality show? It has all the same characteristics of every other reality show. Perhaps you don't know anything about the structure of the show and simply don't like the idea of the show. That's fine. It's not for everyone. Not everyone likes reality. I don't watch a lot of TV. And I have never followed a show. But, I think this one may show some strategy that we can keep in mind for next year. If things can get finished this summer, my teammate and I will be rocking the luxury sleeper and try to get on the show again.

Tinman will be making some new parts for me this week. He has made many things for me.

They are not actors. I submitted my info and they called me the next day. My teammate and I were in Iraq and they liked our story enough for us to make it to the final 50. Over 400 teams applied. And only 12 were picked. My car was on the edge of being tuned, but I was not able to get them any footage of the cat at wide open throttle. The challenges seem pretty good so far. It does look like people are fucking up their cars a bit though. It's on every Tuesday night at 10pm.

Did anyone watch the season premier last night? I'm kind of surprise I haven't seen any post today about it. If you don't know; it's 12 teams that are doing a Cannon Ball Run style race across 9 states. It's a reality show with a first place of $200,000. There is a good verity of car's ranging from a Lambo to a 50's low rider. It really is a pretty good mix of cars for the show. Just wondering what people thought of it, if they did catch it?

Fenders are getting rolled next week. The last of the porting is now done. New IC pipe with BOV being made next week. New high flow elbow. Short throw and rear dif brace go on next week. 2nd oil cooler going on within 2 weeks. Datalogit, on order. New tune to follow, pending tuner availability. Ben/others, other than me sorting out what I want my settings at, what other things can you recommend? And no, you are not driving the car.

There will always be too many assholes in any theater on opening week/weekend. Go anywhere the second opening week during a weekday and you will be golden. I've never had a problem at Easton during the week. Ben, unless you went to Marcus a few years ago it wasn't an IMAX. They just call it the 'mega' screen now or something. It's about 1/3-1/2 the size of their IMAX screen. They just took their IMAX screen and covered up the sides and top and bottom. The screen there is the size of the whole front of the theater. I was actually talking to someone at work today about the IMAX at Easton for this movie. They just wen and watched Night At The Museum. They said it wasn't a real IMAX screen either. : ( I've never been to it before, I just assumed it was like every other one I've been to. I'll still go see 300 at some point there, to at least check it out. Trouble Maker

As far as the 'normal' rooms go, I didn't think they were as nice as the Travel Lodge for a lot more money. Stay at the Travel Lodge. Right behind that hotel there is a great Irish bar. There's a great little sushi bar on the road behind that. I can tell you exactly where if you are interested (it's pretty much across from the Million Dollar Salon). Down in the club district there is a little sport bar called the Honest Lawyer. I like going there too. Of course go gamble a little bit. Trouble Maker

Holy resurrection. I was hoping this thread was forgotten. I did not blow up the sculpture. The day I got the fireworks it had been 50 degree's. The thing just fell apart and when I came home from work it was shattered all over the patio. End of thread.

So this evening I had to go to Grove City for a 2 minute drop off, and then I'm outta there. Should be no issue. Nope. From the off ramp of 270 to 71, I have some ass clown tailgating the fuck out of me. Most of you know I'm not a slow driver and enjoy off ramps. But this guy thinks I'll move faster with his car 2 feet from mine. As I've said before, sometimes, I just don't care about making a point. So, I nicely break check him. he shits himself in the corner a swerves a bit, but backs off. i think it's ok. Nope. Here he comes again. Staying to the left edge of the pavement to try and get his headlights in my mirrors and just as close as before. That's cool. I speed up a little,moving to the left edge myself. he speeds up to stay close. That's when i stood on the breaks. Brand new breaks this week in fact. They worked great. He had no where to go but off the road or hit me. Once I see his headlights dip to the ground, I got back on the gas. He dropped a wheel off the pavement and lost a lot of his momentum. He stayed back after that and even past me later without an issue. WTF? So, Then I'm leaving GC and the same fucking thing. Ion the on ramp to 71 and getting onto the on ramp there's no one around me. I signal and increase my speed to merge with 71. half way down the ramp, i have head light all in my shit again. My speed is 70mph. WTF is the issue with this one? He's a foot from my passenger side corner of my bumper. I'm thinking he might just be trying to get the the 270 south ramp that that lane turns to. My signal is on for me to go to 71. So he knows what I'm going to do. I merge on to 71, he comes with me. I can't get over how people are driving tonight. Fuck it, there's too many cars around. I set the cruise at 70mph and stay to the right lane. He passes eventually, and it's a fucking Ford Focus se WAGON! How can you drive like a retard and think that car will do ok?

I like the Rome concept. This is the second company to come from Burton roots (as employees, not sponsored riders). The first was OS, or Original Sin. They made such great boards at a great price, that they went BK and had to close. they were truly a boarders for boarders company that went under. Sux. If Rome can keep their prices down in the next 2 years, I'll be looking into them as well.
