I lived in Hawaii for four years, and was in Japan for 12 months of that. Their are almost more Asians then Hawaiians in Hawaii. As for tourists, a very high percentage of them are Japanees. I don't know the specifics, but I saw it first hand and though I would try to add to the picture. Though I can't give a reason, I know when I was there the Japanees tourist that I talked to/ met in clubs almost always brought it up as something they had done or were going to do. I never asked why(was trying to get laid). I like the points made here though.

I went to the memorial 2 weeks after I was station in Hawaii, in the mid nineties. It is definitly a moving sight.

Good vids. I'm all confused though. At first it looked like some active duty unit training. Weapons were close, but not right, for U.S. forces(some of them). Now I think it's some high speed paint ball malitia. Details please.

I was up at 5:30 this morning to drive to Ashland. A lot of streets were still bad, but main roads seemed pretty good around here. The closer to Ashland I got, the worse the roads where. They got a little snow and the same ice, the the roads didn't have the care need to clear them. I'm pleased with my suby for a daily diver now, even if it's low.

Mary, many of us on here feel for you and are sorry for your loss. I don't think anyone is looking for any type of confrontation over this. Things happen. None of us were there, except David Putty. I was hoping to see a thank you at the end of your post to him. But, I'm sure in your frustration it was over looked. As I hope the Admins may be able to over look your threat. Had your friends been members on here and had we known them, things may have been said different. Yes, some of us on here race. And yes, sometimes on the street. But many of the people on here go to the track. An incident like this puts a strain on how we enjoy our cars, on and off the track. I hope you are a car enthusiast, as your screen name says "lovesitfast", and want to be around like people. My .02

I will say 4th ID is doing well these days, however my boys were there a litttle before you. I know I'm not with them anymore, but 1st battalion 3rd Marine Division was nice enough to kick down the door so you can see in the house. I'm assuming by the name of the vid, it was November last year in Fallujah. If so, I was 4 miles from there at TQ, and all I can say is that is the loudest week of my life. Good vid.
