  1. I never did believe in the Easter Bunny...rabbits don't even lay eggs...but I most definitely believe in Santa Claus! If not him, who brings you your Christmas presents??
  2. Aren't you a little old to be believing in ghosts, lol...
  3. DRZ400...we could get matching bikes for the TAT. Spare parts would be easier to carry...I'm just saying...
  4. NEVER!! Good luck with the sale!
  5. heypal, I not bangin on ya...just curious as I've never ridden a trike... That's got to be awkward! One wheel in front, and two in the rear... Wouldn't two in the front and one in the rear(Can-Am style) handle better?
  6. No, but I also(99.99% of the time) do not get overtime.
  7. Weak!! Here's mine from the last couple months... Hours are per two week pay period. 149, 139, 135, 168(most per year). Looking back 5 years, I've averaged 3200 hours per year.
  8. Yep, my point exactly... I'd have not given him money, and I'd have most definitely shot him.
  9. How about another at the original Matt the Millers Pub.
  10. First Guinness right off the plane in Dublin Ireland two years ago!!
  11. At one time, I had two sequential numbered Beretta 92FS Italian Inox pistols with the ghost Hogue grips. Unfired twins. Unfired until I got them that is. They still remain one of the most comfortable pistols I've ever shot. Yes, I like M9's too.
  12. Saw that on the news. 14 deployments. Damn!! I hope Heaven has a special place for him!!
  13. You're right Brian, I'm sure it is the Marine in me thinking I could handle most situations! Someday I'll get another pistol, just like someday I'll ride again. No worries about that. I have every intention to teach Connor how to shoot...the same way my dad did, starting with BB guns, then progressing as he gets older. Those were some of the best times with my dad!
  14. Speedytriple, just out of curiosity, I'd like to hear why you drew but didn't shoot.
  15. No worries Isaac's Papa...I didn't take it that way at all!
  16. Not just silly...illegal, and potentially financially devastating. Also, it's not even close to being a fair comparison.
  17. I call BS on that statistic. Furthermore, why carry and only pull? If I carried...which I may start doing because you people are starting to make me paranoid...and I found myself in a situation that justified pulling, rounds would be going down...no two ways about it. Questions for those that do carry... Do/would you only pull to shoot? Do you even consider the possibility of pulling and not shooting? Please explain your thoughts.
  18. There is no presumption...it's what this whole thread is about. WHY CARRY A GUN? To even ask that question, you are automatically justifying why you carry with the answers you give.
  19. Honestly jblosser, which do you think you're MORE likely to have happen? A car/motorcycle accident, or the need to defend yourself via a gun? That's not a fair comparison. Here are examples of fair comparisons: You might get bit by a shark...you better not swim in the ocean! You might win the lottery...spend a dollar ever day! You might get stuck by lightning...don't ever leave you house if the forecast calls for rain! Actually, I'd be willing to bet you're MORE likely to have all three of the above things happen than to need a gun to protect yourself in America.
  20. Just because you feel lucky...that doesn't mean you will be... The vast majority of us will never will a million dollars from a lottery... I mean sure, you read about the people that did. Maybe you've even seen them on TV. If you're real lucky, maybe you know someone personally! Hell, somebody's got to win...and if you keep playing...it might be you!!
  21. Brian, I love ya man...but I disagree. I refuse to live my life paranoid...and I can't remember the last time I didn't feel safe. Does your wife carry now? How about your son? I mean hell, schools are extremely dangerous these days! If they don't, why not? Don't you care about their safety?
  22. The 930 is badass no doubt...but nothing sounds as terrifying as racking a round in the chamber of a 12 gauge.
