This. A Friend of mine has one, it's been dead reliable for the ~120k they've had it for. Used models can be had for down right cheap. Only downside is the 18-20ish mpg you'll get, though I'm sure that's pretty good relative to some of the other choices listed.

Not a fan with what you've done with the car so far but if you like it, that's all that matters. Seems like you'll (eventually) fit in here just fine.

Want to bump this back up, again. This is my current situation and I'm thrilled to see Visa gave me a $400 credit as protection (Thank you, Visa!) However since this is provisional credit should I treat it any different then regular money going into my account? I'm not going to spend up a storm or anything but I would like to know that the money wont "disappear".

Sorry, gotta bump this back up. I called USPS main branch myself and they said "give us 2 days to find it." (it's funny, the seller said that they needed 7 BUSINESS days, hmmm he still nevered answered any of my messages or questions afterwards). So, USPS called me this morning confirming what I already knew. They could find no record of ever recieving anything to ship out. So, he took the money and dashed. Grrrreat. A few small things to note: - paypal noted the charge as "with credit card" - sent a pm to Michael to hear his insight on the matter - gathering all information (read: evidence/proof) necessary for Visa Hopefully I can get my money back. One good thing is that I've found a non-involved intermediary (who lives in Jersey as well!) who confirmed that this asshole DOES in fact live at the Address he gave (which will help the PD). He also told me what he looks like and the car he drives.

I will be using it for transport, to Qdoba and back.
