I've had antenna tv for the last 3 years. It looks great (HD) on the plasma screen, and there's no monthly fee! I have channels 2-1 HD, 7-1HD, 7-2 (weather), 22-1, 22-2 (Cool TV), 26-1HD, 45-1 (Fox), 45-2 (This- Old movies). I like to listen to my audio system if I'm relaxing in the living room, so tv is kind of a secondary thing.

I don't mind the slab as long as I got some good tunes or podcasts playing through the JVC Marshmallows inside my helmet. Like others have mentioned, the highway patrol are on the slab.

When I was at the knee-down clinic, this summer, someone said that modern bikes can be dropped out of the back of a pickup truck at 75 mph and be ok to ride. So, I'd see if the insurance will allow you to buy it back if they total it, and then go the most economically reasonable route.
