  1. Now that the article is posted here is everything I took of the car. http://waggz.smugmug.com/Cars/The-Green-Reaper-Shoot/i-xZgt7Zg/0/L/IMG_1423-L.jpg http://waggz.smugmug.com/Cars/The-Green-Reaper-Shoot/i-xGhmHJH/0/L/IMG_1764-L.jpg http://waggz.smugmug.com/Cars/The-Green-Reaper-Shoot/i-HxvJ5MC/0/L/IMG_1471-L.jpg
  2. And on that note and after reading the rest of this shit show, how about we just get this back on track eh? If you think any of Mr. Farkas's decisions are questionable and you would like to make some pointed attacks, take it to the Kitchen, PM's, Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, or a pod cast... I'm not a "stance" or trendy type guy, but I do think this car is pretty sharp and it makes the owner happy. Thanks and have a bitchin day <3 wagner
  3. The track usually breaks for lunch around noon, that is why we are leaving at 11:30. We will be back at around the time the track goes to lunch, the cars will have their cool down, drivers can eat, and at 1pm the back to back passes start.
  4. Cruise should take about 25-30 mins. The 3 back to back passes will depend on how many cars are running. It should not take all day. The cruise will be leaving the track at 11:30 am.
  5. That sounds about like Stevie Wonder and Helen Keller are getting together to build a car.
  6. From what I understand the tire really sticks and can't get the wheel speed going. Here is a great article from the owner at RJ Race Cars about it in Pro Mod racing. http://www.rjracecars.com/pdfs/50_rick_jones_column.pdf A slick tire track really likes it to be a bit more "greasy" than a radial tire track. Slick tire cars like it with a little less stick so they can keep the tire from getting all wadded up. At the Shakedown they run all the radial tire cars first and keep prep up for them. As the round goes on and the slick tire cars come out they let it go just a little bit for them.
  7. Pretty much sums it up right here. The shit my wife has had to call customers about for BMW is just crazy and is just as bad, if not worse than anything that ever came out of the big 3.
  8. I don't think with the stock suspension they will see much gain on a slick. The track also plays a role as well. These records are being set at places there on radial tire prep, a slick tire car will shake the tires like a polaroid picture.
  9. Maybe $3,000 for the motor and $400 for the trans since you know nothing about it.
  10. They are all crooks, both sides, and in hollywood. Funny thing how that gun selling liberal seems to be getting little press out in CA. HEY LOOK AT THIS MISSING PLANE AND THE TRANNY SUPRISE BRUCE JENNER WITH HIS TRAIN WRECK FAMILY, IGNORE THE ARMS DEALING LIBERAL, HE IS JUST BEING PICKED ON FOR HIS IDEAS...
  11. At the battle of the states shit got real. This weekend at Holly Springs there is a chance you will see even these records broken. Just can't wrap my mind around going that quick, fast, and doing it at 3200lbs on a 315 drag radial...
  12. Now wait a second, according to Wiggs the place is just packed to the roof with cars, parts, and naked ladies with rockers commin out of their assholes.... Dude is a joke. All you have to do is watch the video of that twin turbo pile on the dyno, look at the graph, and its easy to see that thing will not make 2k to the wheels.
  13. I just got this published and by far I think this is my best work top to bottom. I actually liked the pictures I took and the owner called me to thank me for doing this write up. He said it was "100 times better than the shit car craft did" :fuckyeah: http://www.dragzine.com/features/car-features/mickey-tessneers-green-reaper-leaf-spring-chevy-nova/
  14. Been there with sales people and had to ask them after the fact "at what point did you think that was a good idea?" Bunch of clueless animals...
  15. Besides our normal open test-n-tune format, Jet Auto True Street Challenge, and other things to be announced we will have Grudge/No Time racing available. We are going to give people who want to make a pass with the score boards off at least one time hit per hour. The cars and or bikes will be run as a group, National Trail Raceway will not allow single no time passes. So, if you are into the Grudge/No Time scene or know someone who is, let them know! Want to grudge race that facebook fast guy, come on out. We encourage side bets, trash talk, and can even get you a mic to call out whoever you want at the track.
  16. That is what I was thinking but am to stupid to say
  17. Scott's right, I'm dumb, and you can quote me on that. I see what he is saying now about breaking out and he is correct for the most part. You don't want to have your average be quicker than the index. I've got to many windows, e-mails, and IM's open...
  18. What I mean by being over is speaking to a strategy more than anything. Its easier to get closer to the average by being just a little bit slower (or over) than being to fast and going under from what I understand.
  19. You want your average to be as close as possible to whatever you have signed up for. There is no "breaking out", just whoever is closest to the average.
  20. Yep, better to be over than under. I would rather have a plan in place for a tie, because knowing my luck the first time ever running one of these it will happen...
  21. I did not understand the question, my fault. Individual times do not matter, only the final average matters. Whoever gets closest to their final average without going over/under wins. I don't see anything about a tie in the rules, so I guess we will need to come up with something for that...
