The big mass shootings they keep using as ammo for gun laws are the CO and CT tragedies seem to be connected. Both of these things have something in common that was a major contributing factor to the events, THE PEOPLE USING THE GUNS WERE BAT SHIT CRAZY.
So, why do we not address the underlying cause, rather than the tool used? That is my question in all of this. The mental health issue seems to just get a little baby touch, while the evil guns seem to get the larger share of attention.
What has changed since the 40’s, 50’s, and 60’s that has raised gun violence? Pretty sure there as many, if not more guns per capita back in those decades, but not nearly the amount of mass shootings.
Could it be we are allowing the social and moral foundation of this country to just rot away?
