Exactly, for the other big wrecks that weekend the crews were there either before the car stoped moving, or right after. There is another video out where you can hear the annoucer telling everybody to leave the starting line area, including all the crew. When I was in the tower at IFO you should hear the radio traffic for when the fast cars head down the track. They do not even let the cars in the water box before there is conformation that ALL the crews are ready and on standby. Look at the ohio boys wreck up at MIR, before that car even came to a stop there was a track person there on a 4 wheeler. I really wish I could find the video of the GTO that went over the wall. There was saftey people on their way before the car was done barrel rolling and the other car was off the track. You want to see shit track crews go to one of these no et no rules tracks, they are a tragic accident waiting to happen. The only one that is not a death trap is Milan.

They actually were there, just can't see them on the backside of the smoke. One of them was hurt when the tire let go on the rear of the car. The crew from the starting line cleared out because of an issue that happend a few years ago. A top alcohol dragster had a similar wreck, throttle stuck, and the car came back to the starting line killed the driver and her son who was asleep in the tow car at the line. The track staff was clearning people away from the starting line because they were afraid the car was going to shoot back up that way.

How in the blue fuck could things get ANY worse? Have you not seen what was going on for the past year? Unless he starts touching little kids, letting boosters pay for the back alley coat hanger trick, paying for players, and mixing in some classroom cheating for good measure I really don't think he will bring down the program. I would say if he is running that class it is a 4 link, most outlaw 10.5 guys run that. I am not sure if this is an apples to apples because of the turbos, CI, and other factors. Either way they are both impressive cars, but you have to be out of your tree to put that much power to a set of leaf springs. My brother's car makes around 400 and it just lights the tires up.

Is that car a leaf spring, small tire, 60's mustang? I am sure there are a lot of other things but this is just what I see off the top of my head. There are guys having a hard time getting a car with a 4 link down track with this much power, this guy is going to do it on leaf springs.

Umm did you not watch the entire video? At the end the show the breakdown of the RPM, boost, HP, and TQ. Looks like to me it makes 3k... A lot of those big block pro mod style motors don't seem like they are making 3k. Hell if you are standing down track you can hardly hear their burnout.
