Most of his big fights have drawn at least 1 million pay per view buys, and that does not include the gate take, and merchandise sales. Then mix in all of the over seas markets the UFC is in now and it gets even more crazy. Love him or hate him dude brings in the money. Now with the UFC buying Strikeforce that could give them access to network TV. If you can put the UFC on network TV, and the card does not suck that will be amazing for all involved.

97% have no idea what it takes to put on an event. I have been doing different car shows, track days, and International level R/C races for years for the public. What it takes to put on an event that is not half assed is difficult. Anymore I just laugh and move on at the internets smart guys, because they have no idea, are not involved, and are not the true pluse of the car culture.

The issue is people saying they will do it, and people showing up are two different things. Now I know there is talk of cross promoting with other groups. If that goes well and the numbers are there a stand alone event could be held. But that is up to all the keyboard racers that call CR home...

There was talk of trying to do some on-road racing, but interest is not high enough to justify cost.
