Pic Of RC51 My current bike

So the opportunity has presented itself to trade my 2005 636 away for a garage find that my dad picked up. He managed to get a 2004 Honda RC 51 with 6500 miles and it has been sitting since 2006 due to the previous owner hurting his back. SO here is where my problem is I can either keep my bike or go with the RC 51. Now I haven't made up my mind but I would like to see some other opinions other than myself. 2005 636 Pros: -New Paint looks damn good -Set up already for me to ride this year -Strung the hell out when I get into thanks to the I-4 Cons: -It has been laid down -Needs new battery -Semi bulky for a 600 2004 RC51 Pros: -Low miles and even up trade -Lots of low end torque -Really enjoy the steering and how quick the turn in is -Nicky Hayden edition, and it is bone stock -Never been down or really anything its pretty damn mint other than the bug stains on the windscreen Cons: -Flat spots in tire so have to replace tires, which are brand new with the nipples still on the side -I personally don't find the body lines/ color combo as appealing as the 636 -It dosent have under tail exhaust which I like the look of. -Not as much of a balls to wall kind of bike like the 636 when you get it up in the RPM's Now mind you these are my personal opinions so anyone can add to them also, but in the end I am really just torn because they are damn near even in my book. I know they are like comparing apples to oranges but if anyone has any advice I would be glad to hear it.

Do NOT move to Mansfield. Let me repeat myself DO NOTTTTT move to Mansfield For real man that place is a hell hole, and believe it or not the place is in rough shape. Lots of money leaving the town and nothing coming back in. My dad did the commute to Columbus for 6 years and hated it after about 4 (and he was working at Denny Motors so he was mostly always in a C5 Vette). For real move to the 95 exit or somthing but dont move back to Mansfield it will just bring you down man.

I mean I guess if I was knowingly running from the police I think I would have at least the mother fucker on a three county chase involving 6 different law enforcement agencies. At least then you make the news, and get the chance to look like a badass.

I left mansfield to come get an education and I think all I have got this year is just one gigantic hangover... but it was worth every second. Cant wait till next year, I have finals this week

I plastic welded my plastics on mine and used some 3m filler to make it smooth and painted front fairing and the entire right side of the bike. Simpson Cycles.com is your friend. I bought both rearsets from them. And also the 07-08 rearsets fit they are just black so you will have to rattlecan one to make it match.

I do that with my dads cars from the lot all the time. I dont know how many times I have drove from Stringtown Rd in Grove City to Mansfield with out the dealer plates. It happens but its easy to forget to put them on when your in a rush to get somewhere.
