  1. More pics here, I can't edit the original post apparently? Everything in the garage for 6.5k, except for the Cray doors. CBR600RR has a GPX Pro and Bazzaz unit including the quick shifter. FZ1 has a speedo correcting thing.
  2. Not really. Need the big stuff out of my garage ASAP.
  3. Located in Fairborn by WPAFB. 07 CBR600rr, ~9k miles, clean title. I took it to the track twice. Bought it from this thread: http://ohioriders.net/index.php?/topic/76864-for-sale-2007-cbr600rr-track-8265mi-4000/ It's got a bunch of stuff done to it. Has some data acquisition thing on it. I have a bunch of extra crap (wheels, body work, etc.). But it got muddy from my apartment's garage floor over the winter/spring. And a raccoon got in at some point and was a dick. Some of the extra crap may include: - Set of wheels complete with rotors, sprocket/cush drive, all spacers and rear axle with Bridgestone Battlax BT-003R Racing tires Type3 Front Type4 Rear, supposedly 13laps at Nelson on the tires. including the Braking CM55 pads that were running on the front rotors. - Spare set of Vortex Rearsets RS262K - Spare set of Vortex Rearsets used, left peg ground down a bit (a replacement is ~$25) - Bazzaz "Push" sensor (for GP-shift) - Spare set new unmounted bodywork - Spare Hotbodies windscreen new in wrapper - Stock bodywork with headlights, fairing stay, fender eliminator/taillight, flushmount signals, windscreen - Spare generic no-cut frame sliders new in package 4k. Comes with a bunch of extra crap. ================================= 06 FZ1, 15k miles maybe, Ivan's tuning thing to fix the fueling snag, Power Commander I think, some slip on and air filter. Slight body damage. Could use tires. Have the side fairings but never put them on. 4k. ================================= Or buy both for 6.5k. I'll include the stand to someone who buys a bike. $50. Battery charger: $10. Link to gallery: imgur.com/a/0fUlG
  4. I've thought long and hard about getting an FZ1. For those thinking about it - the first gen FZ1's have a better motor and suspension than the second gen, at the cost of having a (comfy) banana seat. IMO, they're analogous to an all-day comfort GSX-R 750 for practical purposes. And you can get a lower fairing for it if that's your thing. Good looking, well-cared-for bike.
  5. My goal is to get a sporty all-arounder. Installing a handlebar conversion, aftermarket seat, taller windscreen, and lower pegs should get me FZ1 ergos with the advantage of a much better suspension and engine. I've targeted the K5/K6 because of its low/mid range power, sane geometry, and already soft ergos for a literbike. Performance on the track isn't a consideration, since I have a dedicated 600. I'm in that mid-twenties stage where I want to be more practical, but don't want to give up the good stuff. In a lot of ways I'd prefer a Speedie, but I think a faired bike is a little more flexible. With all that said, I haven't rode either of the bikes I'm interested in. I'm open to suggestions.
  6. Sometime this Spring I'd like to pick up a 05/06 GSXR 1k. Not interested in anything else except maybe a Speed Triple. I'm willing to pay fair market value. Needs to be and street trim without chrome, extended swingarm, etc.
  7. Chevy, you're just a mouth piece. If it's not a big deal, go do it and prove it. The fact is that it is a big deal, despite being legal. To really drive your point home, why don't you OC while wearing a ski mask at the mall? Maybe visit some gas stations too and ask if you can have some free stuff. That's legal, and it'd make a great news story. Believe it or not, military bases secure their perimeter against threats, including lunatics behaving strangely with guns in the surrounding area. Of course WPAFB has patrols off base. If you want to see someone carrying concealed at the mall, go there on any given day. There are people using discretion and good judgement to protect themselves, walking softly and carrying a big stick. On the flip side, I and most everyone have never seen someone OCing at the mall. Since you're one of the few people who do that retarded shit, I'd love to see how people react to it. Maybe I'd try it.
  8. Did you already forget why you started this thread? Explain to them why you will no longer patronize their business. OFCC has cards to help you. Try to not carry a fucking gun in there to get your point across. You make respectable gun owners look bad.
  9. madcat, there's people saying that they indiscriminately open carry at the mall etc. (even kid's soccer games) the same way that normal people CC. They're obviously full of shit, but they say they're going to prove it. I look forward to seeing them in the news.
  10. I grew up around guns in rural SW Ohio. I'm a very active in the shooting community, if you couldn't tell from the above photo, I conceal carry most everywhere I can, and I'm an NRA life member and Range Safety Officer. I'm just not an idiot that likes to cause a scene - I open carry under the same circumstances as kawi kid. And WI has CC now. WI is pro-gun, they just had a lot of union-backing liberals screwing everything up. Try again.
  11. Why don't you come down for lunch at the Five Guys in Beavercreek, right by the largest research military base in the country, and have someone video tape what happens? I'm curious how the police will respond to a lunatic with visible weapon in a room full of DoD researchers, engineers, scientists, and active duty folk. You better hope it's local police that show up and not the base's security.
  12. Openly carrying a weapon in a place where no one openly carries a weapon is making a scene. Since you say there's a lot of people who do it -- let's see it.
  13. I'm not mocking the demonstration. I'm calling out people who say they indiscriminately carry open when it's false. I think a demonstration like that is a good thing - it raises awareness - unlike one fool walking into a restaurant with a gun hanging off his hip. You openly carrying a weapon into a place that says they don't want concealed weapons is you being an ass. Get that straight. If you don't like their policies, don't go there. Plain and simple.
