I go to maybe one QS&L bike night a year. And that one time a year serves as a reminder as to...Why I don't go to bike nights. Love looking at the bikes but I usually leave pissed off at all the drinking and riding and the persona that it's better to "look bad ass" than have any kind of common sense on a motorcycle when it comes to  equipment and gear.

I work at a dealership, so I go to bike nights pretty much every week now.  I wholeheartedly agree with this statement.

  2. Damn good thing it rained today or you would have seen me on the news for killing weathermen/women. They said rain yesterday so I didn't ride, no rain. The said rain today, so I didn't ride. If it wasn't raining I'd be killing them. I don't mind cold, don't mind rain. But cold and rain suck.

    Sunday looks very promising.

Tomorrow does look like a good ride to work day.
  3. And you can roll your eyes or talk about me for my choices all you want... its ok.. i wont mind.. i really dont care what ppl think of me.. i know the pros outweigh the cons.. when i had a sport bike you wouldnt have caught me without gear... im not sure what changed.... maybe its the ppl i ride with... my age.. etc.. but i just want to ride... i am not going to give anyone shit about what they ride and what gear they have on. Love ya all

I guess I should update this. Agatt for me now isn't the same as when I rode a sport bike. Sometimes I'll wear a half helmet. Yes, it's got skulls on it. My jacket doesn't have armor in every panel, and I don't wear leather pants. Not ever.

Jeans, jacket, gloves, and whichever helmet I grab.

  4. I believe a novice status doesn't allow passegers either

I can have passengers, but they also have to wear a helmet, if it was explained correctly.

And yes, I usually wear a helmet anyway. I've had a few times without, but others drivers make me nervous, so... Yeah.

  5. Ok, so I took my skills test today and passed it, so I've got my endorsement back, although I'm a novice again... Still think it was pretty dumb to have to take it, but whatever. I'm just glad it's over.

  6. Cool man! And as stated above we were instructed to look for that "M" before leaving the bmv or we'd have to repeat the process. It sucks but that's how it works

I wish I'd gotten that same lesson when I took the class. Oh well. I've got my skill test setup for Wednesday. Hope I pass, lol

  7. Lol I was just being a troll...couldn't resist

Everybody has those troll moments lol. I get the weird looks because I don't look like a normal harley rider, but I ride the crap out of this thing
