I've got them on craigslist right now. Somebody emailed and wants to come get them tomorrow afternoon and trade me for a set of T bars. I think they'll be the closest thing to good that I'll find. If he doesn't show up, I'll PM you.

Your language is offensive.

With this new bike, I have a sudden, overwhelming need to grow a fumanchu and get some tattoos.
-
OK, I'm pretty sure I remember how to get there from the one time I've been. Should be there by 6:30 if anyone is going.
-
Cobra pipes. Want some ape hangers?
-
Will these fit on my FZR?
Absolutely, mang.

Excellent way to dry the armpits on the hots summer days!
Except that I have my leather jacket, so the pits have no wind exposure.
-
I'm gonna try CL, next.
Thanks for the regular bars, again.

404 Document not found.
Found it, and I ordered that shit.
-
I'm not sure, either...
-
No, but you can bet your ass that if I can find a tshirt like that before Wednesday, I WILL show up at CC wearing it.
-
True...
But it's not my place to be the one to do it. I can keep a secret.
-
I honestly can't believe someone did that to THAT bike.
I've seen worse though.
Hold up, wait minute...
What exactly is "THAT bike" supposed to mean?
-
Just checking here, first.
I know there are people on this forum who have cruisers, and I'm sure that a couple of you have thought about getting some badass apehangers for your bike, but just don't want to spend all the money on parts. Handlebars, new cables, etc.
I'm here to make your day.
I just purchased an '07 Yamaha V Star classic, and the previous owner installed these bars. They're the epitome of manliness (or butchiness, for all you ladies out there) and they can be yours, IF the price is right.
Here's what I'm looking for...
If you've got a Vstar with stock handlebars and cables, a simple trade of parts. I'll pull mine, you pull yours, we meet at a mutually agreeable location, and, well, we switch. You could even ride over to my house and use my garage for the switch if you want to.
If you just want to have the setup, it can be yours for the low, low price of $200. The bars alone are "worth" more than that. The old standard cables have been replaced with stainless, braided cables. Downside to that is, you're gonna have to wait until I get stuff switched before you can have them.
If you're on OR, you know that cruisers are less prevalent than the sport bikes, so feel free to just pm me if you're interested. We'll both be happy, and I won't tell anyone which OR member is happily rolling around with apehangers. It's a win-win.

Just give me a week or two. I'm still a sport bike guy, I just have a cruiser, too.
I guess the sig could go, though...
-
I hope y'all are having your damned fun.
But, yeah... They feel ridiculously high to me.
-
You gonna bring your cruiser out tonight?
Well, if I end up going, yes. Depending on what I'm able to get done today, it may still have the apes on it, or it may be in the middle of being worked on.
Just don't give me too much crap about the cruiser, k?
-
I went once, but yah, about a dozen.

I checked an iPad out. Wasn't too impressed. Happily posting from my couch on my macbook.

I wouldn't really call a 600rr to a 600rr an upgrade... That's just me, though. You ride a gixxer, though. You'd consider a new sticker an upgrade.
-
I saw your youtube video of your F4i flipping over to 100,000 miles. Hard to believe the bike in your pic on the first post has almost 200,000 miles on it...

LOL! I thought you fell in love with that '04 CBR?
-- I was in a simular situation when I tryed to buy a used car. I test drove the thing and came back and told the owner "I'll take it." I didnt have the cash on me but wanted to go to my bank about 20 minutes away. There were some other people there that had the "cash in fist" and wanted to buy the car too. The owner wouldnt let me go to my bank and get the money. He took the cash in fist. Bastard ! I was there first!
I did love the '04. Figured I'd love an '08 just as much, probably more. In hindsight, I should have waited until AFTER I bought the '08 to sell the '04, bu it seemed pretty clear that I'd get it.

Yah, sounds very nice.

Absolutely was a good time. Who was the guy that showed up with the Harley with equally huge apes? It was parked next to mine.
