  1. it would be in your best interest...like i said i only pay $10 a month for full coverage...the more you add with state farm the more discount you get..also you don't have to take a msf class for your license because they automatically give you a discount. they expect it from new riders..so even before i took mine i got the discount. (still recommend taking the class though) ;) Good luck...

I am already signed up for the class. Taking it in June. They were completely booked until then.

  2. Thanks, danballa! I appreciate you taking the time to put that together for me. I have shopped online a ton, and all I can find are 32 inseams which are just too short. I tried on a women's scorpion jacket today that fit fine, but I might have to go with men's pants. I will check out some of those websites you listed and see if I have any luck.

  3. I am looking for some gear. All I have is the helmet. I looked at a lot of stuff online, but wondering if there are brands that are not worth the money or not good quality. Also, for a girl I am really tall so if any ladies know where to get longer pants that would be awesome!

  4. lol the insurance on my ninja 500 is like 130 dollars a year through progressive.

Progressive should love me! I have had house and cars with them for 3 years. We are thinking of switching everything to State Farm now, since they are so much cheaper.

  5. I have geico, $99 a year, full coverage.

Take the MSF course, I got 10% for taking it.

I am taking the course in June and she said the discount would apply then, but it only drops it like $50/year.

  6. The price they gave us was around $675/year for my husbands R6 only. We haven't put my bike on yet because we are picking it up Friday and I didn't have the info when I called today. I thought it seemed too high, but we needed to get it started to bring the bike home. Guess I will have to shop around tomorrow and try to switch.

  7. We brought his home today from the dealer and took back roads. They said that they will bring mine to that location instead of their other location so that we can drive it home safely. It's closer to home and easy to avoid highways. I don't feel good about breaking the law already!

He bought an '09 R6 and I bought a '09 Ninja 500. :D I will put up some pics by this weekend.

  8. welcome! have you thought about a suzuki gs500 ? they are just a tad more powerful than a 250 and not as intimidating as a 600

I looked at one yesterday that was at a REALLY good price, but I like the style of the Ninja's better. I figure, I have waited a long time for a bike. Might as well get what I want instead of settling for something else.

  9. if you find one up around c-bus I'd be glad to pick it up for you and bring it down to cincy .... My family lives in west clermont county

Would you be willing to test drive it for me, too? :D
