ps... the 08-09 ninja 250's are holding their value. I piked mine up for 3k, rode it a year, sold it for 3k.

They are also hard to find right now! Can't find what I want on CL, and have been to 3 dealers. Can't even find a used one at a dealer at the moment!

We shopped around a lot today. Husband found a nice bike I think it is a '09 R6. I found NO ninjas at all:nono: Anyone know of a dealer that has them in stock around Cincy?

Can't buy hers She still owes a good amount on it, and plans on keeping it until she is done with school.

Thanks, RacerRich. My sister-in-law got a 250 last year, but by the end of the season she wanted a 500. She suggested going with the bigger bike, but taking the class first (which I plan to take anyway). Glad to hear some other thoughts though. It is a tough decision to make when you have no experience

Thanks! Any input on starting with a 500 instead of a 250? I keep hearing that people want a bigger bike right away if they start with the 250.

I am between Cincy and Columbus. I am completely new to riding, and hoping to get my first bike very soon. I am thinking of getting a Ninja 250/500, if anyone is looking for a buyer in my area. I have wanted a bike since high school, so I am really excited to be getting one soon.
