MAKE A CASH OFFER. My fiance's parents gave us this car and we don't really need it. It is AWD and winter is coming. I've put roughly $5000 in the car since we got it. Here's the new parts I can remember: timing belt, water pump, belts, cam seals, spark plugs, rack and pinion, 4 new tires with alignment, steering column bearings, and more. It still has a hesitation at idle, but it sat at her parents house for years and seldom driven. It could definitely use a tune up, but I still drive it to Columbus twice a week. It's honestly one of the best riding and handling cars I've ever driven. The A/C is cold and the heat works fine too. The clock spring in the steering column needs fixed or replaced so the cruise and horn don't work right now. They worked perfect until I dicked around with the steering column bearings. I don't have a need for it anymore and I don't have the garage space for it. 3.3L 145k miles. It does have leather, suede, and a sunroof. These cars are becoming more and more rare as they were only made for a few years. Her parents were the original owners and we still have the $32,000 window sticker. I'm aiming for $2500, but I need some fast cash this weekend. Money talks. http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f194/transamdrag98/P1040693.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f194/transamdrag98/P1040699.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f194/transamdrag98/P1040695.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f194/transamdrag98/P1040698.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f194/transamdrag98/P1040697.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f194/transamdrag98/P1040696.jpg
  5. 06 F-250 XLT 4X4 FX4 Powerstroke diesel with auto trans 146k miles. Newer tires with maybe 10k miles on them. EGR and EGR cooler delete (light stays on). Bedliner and fiberglass cap. Aluminum gas door. Ford chrome running boards. LED step lights. Aftermarket air intake on the turbo. The only bad is that it hesitates when the engine is cold. Runs great when it's warmed up. I've ordered 2 bottles of Rev-X so hopefully that will be cleared up soon. It has a couple scratches and dings from the previous owner, but it still looks great. I put new fog lights on it this year along with a block heater for winter. According to NADA the clean retail is about $25,000 and KBB says $23,400. I'm only asking $17,500 because that's my payoff, nothing more. The only thing I pull around is my jet ski so I need this beast like I need a hole in my head. 6. VFR800 VTEC. New ContiMotion tires at the beginning of this season. Exhaust baffles removed, sounds great. 8000K HID's installed in the high beams for maximum visibility during the day. Also includes genuine Honda accessories: trunk mounting bracket and sport touring trunk. ($650 option) http://powersports.honda.com/2008/interceptor/accessories.aspx The only bad is that my wife dropped the bike while trying to move it. We were having a new garage door opener installed and she had to move it back about 5 feet. This proved too much for her and the bike fell over on the right side. The scratches are minor and are on the lower part of the right fairing. Luckily these bikes don't have expensive decals so a paint touchup shouldn't be too much. It's never been wrecked or laid down while moving. It only has 5400 miles, maybe a few more if I go for a ride. Book values without the trunk: NADA $7485, KBB $7325. I need $7150 because that is my exact payoff. PICS http://columbus.craigslist.org/mcy/1988478004.html
  7. Yep, I make $28/hr at DSCC and I'm dumber than a box of rocks.
  8. I just sold mine cuz it was just too damn uncomfortable to ride. Great track bike though.
  9. GL with the sale. Didn't this car get voted #1 at that Advance Auto cruise? My 98 had a shit ton of mods and it was clean as hell, but I still had to give it away for $8500.
  10. damn, that's almost $1000 under what it books for bone stock. i guess the only way to sell something around here is pass out hand jobs.
  11. Bump for a price drop from $6300 to $5500. stock exhaust put back on.

    New bike

Finally decided to do the gutting job. Turned out pretty good and it was much easier than I thought it would be. Sounds badass for a $20 exhaust. Sounds just like this one:
  13. my brother's car did the same thing and it turned out to be the vtec solenoid.
  14. Well I'm just getting around to posting this. As read in the other thread, I bought a new VFR800 so this thing needs to go. 9700 miles. near mint condition. new tires just broke in, Conti Sport Attacks. MOTYdesigns gauge mod with blue/red LED's. Fender Eliminator with LED taillight and turn signals. I had the ugly silver mid fairings painted black to match the rest of the bike. I replaced all the decals with chrome ones. Chrome brake reservoir. Tank protector pad. Black chrome windscreen. RR grips. black spools. It's never been down. It's fun as hell to ride, but the ol' lady said her ass couldn't take the seat anymore. There is a loan on it so I would have to get the title from the bank. Of course if you get a loan, the bank will handle everything. $5500 No trades. http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f194/transamdrag98/P1030715.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f194/transamdrag98/P1030698.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f194/transamdrag98/P1030718.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f194/transamdrag98/P1030719.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f194/transamdrag98/P1030722.jpg
  15. I love that color scheme. I saw one on the East side that had the can powder coated orange faded into black. It was pretty tits man.

There are too many different ways to gut the exhaust from what I was reading. If you gut the cat then you need a PC and O2 sims. I'm guessing I should just gut the muffler baffles. Anybody done this before or know who would do it for a fee?

Well I ended up going a completely different direction. I bought a 2008 VFR800 non-abs at Marysville Honda for $7200. The ol' lady hated my 600RR so it's going bye bye. I wanted something to serve both purposes of a sportbike and comfort. Hopefully we can get some miles put on this one. I'll get pics up after I pick it up in the morning. This is the bike though...http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/photos/2008models/2008-Honda-Interceptor-ABS.jpg
