I Think this is common misconception for Riders that have never done a trackday... STT has a group for YOU... If you can tour the backroads at the speed limit. Your Good to GO! It's just much SAFER at a trackday.

Fast charging Motorcycle batteries will kill them quickly...2 amps max. Trickle would be best.

It really is tuned way lean from the Factory. I love my bazzaz . Got a custom map from a guy on the R1 forum...Really makes it feel like a new bike Drops the engine temps down in the 170's. -
