To ballpark a number if you look at KBB fair trade in you will be around there. If the car is selling for good prices in the area it will go up from there. They don't want to pay more for a car they can just buy at the same price at the auction. I'm with Byers and you can look at all our dealers at Byersauto.com
We have an 97 cobra I took in with a 700 mile KB charger and meth installed. It has HRE's and stop tech brakes. I will get you a great deal on it too. I know it isn't an 03, but just trying to help.
Well I have an extra perfect B7 17" wheel that I got from a local that didn't need it. He gave it to me for helping him do his brakes and getting this at my cost. So I don't just want to give it away, but not 100% sure if it would even fit. Since I've never seen this wheel clear those brakes you have vs my B6/B7 S4 brakes.
Well I've switched over to VW to help out for a bit. I hope to go back one day, but just this week I've switched over. I will keep you updated, but even with our high volume store we don't get many.
I'm not trying to be rude at all. I was just trying to say it might help you locate them. I'm in VW Sales and on our lot of 180+ VWs only one is a new one. There just not that many out there. Please don't think I'm brushing them off, but I don't see us getting one in that price range. Sorry you took it wrong.
We sold one that had 250,000 on it for $5,500, but didn't have anything wrong with it at all. Our techs didn't even ask to do anything to the car. It was owned by a aircraft mechanic that did everything when it needed it. I so wanted that car.
There is not going to be much load on the set screws. They are just used to keep the coil from turning when adjusting. The last owner didn't even have them installed at all, and I just thought I would do it right.
This will give you an idea on how they are installed. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/12/11/11/dabuzene.jpg
They couldn't help. Even koni couldn't give me new set screws for the rear coils. Since they are not on the car yet I can take them into lows and look for something that will work.
It could be the either or even both of the things said above. I have my aux pump still that didn't show any problems when I took it out. I put on the 034 molded pipe in delete that. I can take pics of that cross over pipe talked about above tomorrow if you want. It could even be the coolant sensors in that cross over pipe too. I really wouldn't mind having that car either. New plugs and maybe new coil packs could really wake it up. Coil packs aren't cheap, but new plugs might help a lot.
I just picked up some used Koni Coilovers and needed some parts that are missing(Set screws for the rear coil to bushing and the plastic rings that sit between the coil and perch). While I was looking online for some extra parts I ran into this company. Has anyone used them before?
