  2. I just went up there to take pics. Its open all night but you have to park and walk int eh dark to get it, (i suggest a flash light). Ill post pics in a bit.
  3. ohh.. The JimmyD in a an Impluse, i can totally see it.
  4. Do yourself a favor and rent it one weekend and see how you feel about it. Im sure if MPEX or CCG doesnt have it for rent, one of the other Online rental places has it for rent. I would love to have one, but its defintly down far on the list of needs for my camera bag. I love the 16mm Wide angle i rent form MPEX fairly often but its a huge chunk of change
  5. Using Wordpress with Photography Themes is your best bet. Flip through Themeforest. Im more than happy to help you out.
  6. The Elevator is among my favorites.
  7. Hehe.. I was a Canon Girl LOOOOONG before i was a nikon girl. When i go Pro and can afford body and lens at the same time, ill go back to Canon.. until then.. Nikon. ;-)
  8. I think I may have been misleading. I know for me pro glass will always be first. This video I posted show people why.
  9. I love this guys Reviews and videos He makes some very valid points. I really wish we could embed videos The 24-70 2.8 he uses is my favorite lens. I have used it both on Canon and Nikon. its the lens i am saving up for currently.
  10. No, i was at homestead park. It was a flash with trigger. I had 3 lights with me, and somehow it got left behind in the packing of equipment. I now have a checklist to take with me so i can check for everthing before i leave. I didnt realize it was gone and a week later found an ad on craigslist for my gear, contacted the guy and he said he gave up and gave it to a missionary on thier way to brazil at thier church. I havent heard back from him since.
  11. Do your self a favor and get a rider on your homeowner policy. Its cheap, it covers you if stuff gets lost, stolen, or broken. camera gear is expensive, if you arent a pro, but have more than 2-300 bucks invested, its worth it. Someone picked up a flash of mine that had not made its way back into my bag last week, and now i have to file a claim for it. No cost out of pocket, and its not goign to affect my homeowners because its under 1K claim. Also, make sure you take pictures of all your camera equipmetn (this includes grips, syncs, mounts, tripods, bags, fat geckos)
  12. Just an FYI, we have local rentals here. MPEX.com (on High Street in clintonville) Columbus Camera Group (though as usual they are oddballs and dont rent Friday to monday as one day, only Saturday to monday)
  13. vague request is vague. Do you have a specific tile in mind? Company? Have you looked at the tile place in Hilliard, or there are a few tile places on riverside in grandview, also there is american floor source on trabue. Any place worth its salt will be able to get you a sample of the tile.
  14. I have the collapsable Gary Fong and LOVE it. I have used the non collapsable as well. I have a stofen as well. Both have thier places. When i had the 430EXii, i always wished for more power, just an FYI, but thats just me. I just couldnt afford teh 580EXii. Good luck!
  15. 16. As far as real estate a d those considering moves to there, are the starter house costs around 300k in sketch areas? My BFF lives there and her husband is a teacher, and I was shocked at how much thier house cost. I just got back fro Portland two weeks ago, and did no nature stuff. Seei g these shots make me regret it. I just was having too much fun with the kids I was visiting. I wi go back though.
  17. I also suggest not shooting at 1-2 pm in the afternoon. Color Temps are not a cameras coloring friends. Sunlight affects the colors, and im trying to dig up the exact thing i read years ago, but basicly the color spectrum during mid day lighting (9am-5pm) is the harshest light to shoot in. Sunrise (cool tones) Sunset (warm tones) will dramatically change your pictures. *warning- wall of text crits you* http://www.3drender.com/glossary/colortemp.jpg While this article is geared towards Landscape photography, it pretty much clears up what i am bumbling to say. http://www.luminous-landscape.com/columns/composition-4.shtml
