That is the right one. I really have no idea. I don't go on many rides unless someone else is leading bc they know the twisty roads much better then me. I'm open to suggestion!
And yes its kind across the street from northstar. I think its northstar's. I just look for the white triumph.

930 kickstands up Friday in the parking alot across from North Star at the corner of N High and W 2nd in the shortnorth Italian village area. I'll be there 10-15ish minutes before

Anyone interested in taking a ride tomorrow? I don't know where too but we can figure that one out. It can either be a morning ride (I need to be back by 1:30 for a conference call for work) or after my call (3).
-
I can help you tonight right after work if you haven't already fixed it. I'm about 10 blocks from you. Message me for my number if you still need help.

My rear stand has the little arms that go under the swing arm. I don't have spools. (I found a rear stand for 20 bucks on CL) Thanks for the telling me its really easy (I'm sure its simple). But just for my peace of mind I like to have someone who knows what they are doing walk me through it the first time. It's not like my jeep if I mess something up where I just tow it home with another jeep and fix it. I can get thrown off of this thing...

I need to do my first oil change and tighten my chain since I bought my bike. I was going to try to do it this weekend. Would anyone be willing to lend a hand with this. The oil change shouldn't be an issue. I just need someone to guide me through tightening the chain. I am mechanically inclined and work on my Jeep regularly. I have tools as well. If there is a special tool I can pick it up. Just looking for a little guidance for my first time. Anyone want to help pop my cherry? I'm pretty open on when and what day if you can do it this weekend. Pizza/beer will be provided. I live in the short north.

It rained the entire week. I did some good body damage to my Jeep too. I need to get around to getting it hammered out and painted.

I have a 08 Striple and I love it. Same motor and frame more or less. You just have more plastic.

I'm not a student but live in that area and 25. Let me know when you guys go riding. Anyone want to ride this Sunday? (6.20.10 i think is the date)

I picked up a new battery yesterday. My Triumph is much happier now. Thanks everyone!

I am going to do my first oil change and chain tightening soon. Do I need to buy a bike stand? I have been pushing this off but will today if I have to.

2 spots now are open...

I have an old school needle analog meter but it was closer to 12 then 13. It is set up 0-5 5-10 10-15 etc. So kind on the left side of the middle of 10-15. I checked the current at the battery when the bike was on. That was around 14+ I'm going to just buy a new battery and see what happens. Any suggestions on cheap places to buy a battery?
Thanks for all the info ReconRat

No problem tonight, when I put it back on the tender tonight the battery was below 80% according the tender. Is that normal?

All part of the activity. Nothing is 100% safe...

There is another demo weekend the weekend after that I was thinking of going to. 4th cylinder? I keep missing that one on my bike.

Hey everyone, I'm going camping and zip lining this weekend in hocking hills with a bunch of friends. One of my friends canceled so I'd like to get ride of the ticket. The zip line is a ton of fun. Price is $85 bucks. You don't have to camp with us or even stay the night. Time is 12:40 on THIS Saturday. You need to be there 30-60 minutes before the actual launch time. The thing is about 3 hours long. www.hockinghillscanopytours.com
Its a bunch of 25-32 year old professionals who like to have a good time.
PS I'm not sure if there is a sales forum that I missed but I figured this would be good for the central people.

Yeah it was on the tender over night. It started up great the first time but second time no go.
-
So the bike started up great at my place. Went over to drop off a movie at redbox and it wouldnt turn over again, I tried to push start it but no good. Anyways I found someone to jump it for me. I forgot my wallet of course so had to go back home. It turned over just find afterwards. I then headed over to Grandview for bike night and when I left it turned over with no issue again. Terminals need cleaning maybe? It was fun having to tell the girl on the back of my bike that I need to be jumped, she laughed a little then thought $hit we are stuck at giant eagle...
-
As I don't see anyone interested I won't be stopping in the short north/arena...just in grandview. If you show look for a white triumph street triple.
RFM what time are you planning on coming by?
-
AND it works again plus I picked up a tender.
-
Piss, I can't make it. I hope to hook up with the Triumph guys later on.
-
Any of the Euro guys/girls out there going to bike night tomorrow in Grandview? That is my plan if anyone wants to join me. I figured we can meet in the short north/arena before we head down.
-
I just got off the phone with a triumph service guy. He said they pull a ton of power to get the engines to turn over and unless I ride it for more then 30-45 minutes a few times a week I will have issues. Lets see if jumping it tonight will work. Then it will be off to iron pony to get a tender...
