  1. That is the right one. I really have no idea. I don't go on many rides unless someone else is leading bc they know the twisty roads much better then me. I'm open to suggestion!

And yes its kind across the street from northstar. I think its northstar's. I just look for the white triumph.

  2. 930 kickstands up Friday in the parking alot across from North Star at the corner of N High and W 2nd in the shortnorth Italian village area. I'll be there 10-15ish minutes before

  3. Anyone interested in taking a ride tomorrow? I don't know where too but we can figure that one out. It can either be a morning ride (I need to be back by 1:30 for a conference call for work) or after my call (3).

  4. My rear stand has the little arms that go under the swing arm. I don't have spools. (I found a rear stand for 20 bucks on CL) Thanks for the telling me its really easy (I'm sure its simple). But just for my peace of mind I like to have someone who knows what they are doing walk me through it the first time. It's not like my jeep if I mess something up where I just tow it home with another jeep and fix it. I can get thrown off of this thing...

  5. I need to do my first oil change and tighten my chain since I bought my bike. I was going to try to do it this weekend. Would anyone be willing to lend a hand with this. The oil change shouldn't be an issue. I just need someone to guide me through tightening the chain. I am mechanically inclined and work on my Jeep regularly. I have tools as well. If there is a special tool I can pick it up. Just looking for a little guidance for my first time. Anyone want to help pop my cherry? :fruit: I'm pretty open on when and what day if you can do it this weekend. Pizza/beer will be provided. I live in the short north.

  6. I have an old school needle analog meter but it was closer to 12 then 13. It is set up 0-5 5-10 10-15 etc. So kind on the left side of the middle of 10-15. I checked the current at the battery when the bike was on. That was around 14+ I'm going to just buy a new battery and see what happens. Any suggestions on cheap places to buy a battery?

Thanks for all the info ReconRat

  7. Hey everyone, I'm going camping and zip lining this weekend in hocking hills with a bunch of friends. One of my friends canceled so I'd like to get ride of the ticket. The zip line is a ton of fun. Price is $85 bucks. You don't have to camp with us or even stay the night. Time is 12:40 on THIS Saturday. You need to be there 30-60 minutes before the actual launch time. The thing is about 3 hours long. www.hockinghillscanopytours.com

Its a bunch of 25-32 year old professionals who like to have a good time.

PS I'm not sure if there is a sales forum that I missed but I figured this would be good for the central people.

  8. So the bike started up great at my place. Went over to drop off a movie at redbox and it wouldnt turn over again, I tried to push start it but no good. Anyways I found someone to jump it for me. I forgot my wallet of course so had to go back home. It turned over just find afterwards. I then headed over to Grandview for bike night and when I left it turned over with no issue again. Terminals need cleaning maybe? It was fun having to tell the girl on the back of my bike that I need to be jumped, she laughed a little then thought $hit we are stuck at giant eagle...

  9. As I don't see anyone interested I won't be stopping in the short north/arena...just in grandview. If you show look for a white triumph street triple.

RFM what time are you planning on coming by?

  10. I just got off the phone with a triumph service guy. He said they pull a ton of power to get the engines to turn over and unless I ride it for more then 30-45 minutes a few times a week I will have issues. Lets see if jumping it tonight will work. Then it will be off to iron pony to get a tender...
